It has a lot of similarities in how it plays to another gem matching, rpg game but with Doctor Who as the source content and no energy timers! In app purchases are for the gems to buy chances at unlocking more characters for your party or outfits. Not sure what else yet but the devs have stated they are bringing lots more free content to the game so who knows?
