I think it's fine the way it is, a forum built upon (for the most part) great posts. That kinda falls apart when "lolz" can be sent easily again and again. Besides, who'd visit the actual forum?

With a decent amount of chat-moderators there, it would be helpful for everyone.

You don't need to sign into twitter or facebook to use it. The group could be used to schedule a time to use tinychat.

 

I don't know why do people suggest sites like Tinychat. In my opinion, it's much faster to create a chatroom on some bigger IRC network, which you can reach from your iDevice too.

 

I would guess most people here do not use IRC. You need an IRC client.

 

There are web-based IRC clients like Mibbit, which aren't harder to use than, let's say Tinychat.

I think, that selecting a server and a chatroom at the start isn't a big sacrifice for a chat that people can reach from everywhere and is much easier to moderate.
