Well if she was really interested/excited, she would ask you about a different day.

So yea, I'm thinkin you might have been rejected. Although she's probably not lying about being busy on fridays.

    I dunno. :)

It probably depends on what you sent her. If what you sent sounded like you were bored and just wanted to make plans, then no you weren't rejected, she just already had plans. If you did actually ask out like "Wanna go out to a movie with me Friday" then yeah you did get rejected.

Tell her your going to the same party and see what her reaction is, then, ask her to be your date.

I suggest a "Mass 'I Need Relationship Advice' Thread" is formed!

Can't because he already asked her to go to the movie that night so she's obviously gonna think he didn't have plans.

This. +1,000. It's ridiculous how people find the urge to ask these kind of questions on an iDevice gaming forum

Lol, they just want an unbiased opinion (though this isn't the best place to get it)

Don't you have any guy friends to talk to this about? Do you really have to post it on an internet forum? Seriously... and through a text? Do you not have the balls to ask her on a date in person? By the way, I only read the first 2 posts, so I don't really give a crap if I said something that's already been stated.

Nothing wrong with being friends, as long as that friendship is limited by the parameters of the internet and the iDevice gaming forum. I don't mind a guy asking how to beat a game-hell, I don't even mind a guy asking for a good movie to watch-though it may not pertain to the site, it's all in good taste. However, when someone asks for something as personal as relationship device, that is going way to far

    Hi,

You hit the nail on the head, nothing says "I like you" like a text message.

To the OP, if you cannot do it in personal, do not do it.
