Technically that's three words right? And Mini Gore for me is the epitomy of an over hyped app. I feel like i brought a game based on a whole heap of concept art and ideas that someone would LOVE to bring to reality if only they could find the time to do so.
The Horrible Vikings, it looked so fun and the graphics are fantastic. But I don't like the control scheme at all, so I have only played it 60 min. DoodleJump - after 30 minutes it's just boring. Cogs - beautiful graphics - but never really got in to it. Implode! - I don't know why, but I really don't care about I'm getting an A or E.
faceoff is the only one I can off the top of my head. the controls turned out to be very bad in that game.
Good points. I got my first iPod in October 2009 and was just overwhelmed by how many good and cheap games I could find for my Touch. I have about 250 games and I regret less than 20 of them Most of them are 99c games which I got by impulse buying, so that's not so bad.
ppppppppppppppooooooooooooooooooccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttttttttttt gggggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddddddddd
I never really regret my purchases as it were but I tend to get sick of games very quick. Maybe the problem is the only mobile gaming device (relatively speaking) I owned before an iPhone was a GameBoy and it soured me on playing these for extended periods of time.
Rock Band I plunked down $10 with the expectation of EA supporting their product. Instead I (and numerous other players) got shafted on content and then insulted with a drop to $6.99 with no real value to have justified our early purchase. Just to add insult the injury, the game isn't even that good. Especially if you have big hands like I do. (Hard to hold the phone stable while playings.) Last time I EVER give EA the benefit of the doubt again.
I loved Rock Band, but anyway. My game is Inotia 2. Lack of character customization, terrible story. It has it's bright spots but I really regret paying 7.99 for that game.
Yes and it has nothing to do with price. There is a ton of good stuff in the store which has been there for over a year, never gets a mention here because it has no sale, updates are not needed and hopefully sales tick over nicely. There is only so much research you can do before dropping your money and that is price dependent surely? A PS3 game I will read more about than a game here. But if you say you have made no mistakes then you are not buying enough. You can only recognise quality when you have seen the opposite. You should take the chance sometimes, it won't hurt and it's no different to being out and trying a new drink, different food. If nothing else read lots of reviews here and the main blog and see whose you agree with - and then follow what they say as a guide.
Well I regret getting Pocket God, but I wouldn't really say regret since it was only a buck. Robocalypse and Zenonia were over-hyped for me too.
- pocket god: from day1 til now - minigore: that I hate when it release. Now aftter ep4 update, actually it's not too bad.. - avatar - seed: buy it at first day for 2.99, become free after a week, all it's quests at the beginning are designed to push players purchasing it's DLC product, it is bad. - across age: expected a RPG become a puzzle game
recent apps which happen to be gameloft games: gt racing (It just sucks crappy graphics, yucky handling and pyhsics. Bia 2 (decent campaign, crappy multi. I get booted out every game after 30 secs. Nova is better than bia 2 in terms of workable multi. I do admit it's not that bad, but I can't really judge how good it is because of the bad servers it has
