Only in the sense that if I had waited a bit on some of these new releases, I'd have been able to buy more games! (Guerrilla Bob and Space Miner I'm lookin' at you!)
Pocket God for sure. That game just didn't do it for me. Blade Master is another. The Deep might be one, but I'm not sure yet. I've only played a little, and haven't really gotten into it. But it didn't really pull me in either. I'll have to wait and see on that one.
I regret Guerrilla Bob, if i picked it up for .99 i would rethink...but for app store 2.99, it was not worth it
Meteor Blitz Guerilla Bob Inkvaders N.O.V.A. Isotope Star Defense Fieldrunners I know some of them are classics but one dual stick shooter is good enough for your iDevice. I felt geoDefense is a better TD than Fieldrunner.
Rolando 2- first one was much better, haven't even finished this one while I still play Rolando 1 MC: Sandstorm Meteor Blitz Avatar- good then it got too repetitive. Better than the movie though Command and Conquer- it was fun at first but then it got really boring and the screen scrolling was just horrible. Myst- never played the PC... Finished it in three days and the worst ending(s) ever. Puzzles weren't even that great IMO. Terminator- short and boring
Regretted a purchase? Probably, when I was a newbie. Now I research and then really scrutinize the game and ask myself if I would personally enjoy this game. (after excluding all the hype surrounding it). Gotta remember, theres a lot of different ages, genders, newbies, seasoned gamers, devs, etc that are putting their 2 cents worth in posting of games and although I'm truly grateful for this I'm an individual (remember the hype) and will be the actual person playing the game and we all have our tastes in what gaming is. When I was a newbie (not to say there is any here but...) I wished someone would've told me of researching games as in: videos (youtube.com,etc), game site reviews, lite versions, online pc demos, TA forum, game networking, iTunes (game description/reviews),etc. I use these tools and can't recall having regretted a purchase in a long time.
