I picked up the lite version to see what all the fuss was about. Great design, well polished game, but it didn't push my buttons so to speak.
Eh, I have both. #1 Isn't really that fun, but it's bearable* enough to play. #2 Is fun enough. I beat the game, and am still playing. *Unlike driving a car.
I own neither... I had assumed that Ngmoco was going to further drop the price on Rolando 1 with the release of Rolando 2 - but they still haven't. I think they are probably going to stick to their price - trying to establish a premium game price-point - so, regardless of price cut, it'll be my next purchase when I have a trip/plane flight where I'll need something to occupy my time.
I have only the first Rolando and hated it. The secon one does look a bit more appealing, but at $10 I'm not risking it.
No, i agree. I bought it the day it came out expecting my mind to be blown. And it was a good game i guess, good concept, it just didnt suck me in like some other games have. (zenonia, fieldrunners, hero of sparta.) I still try it out every so often though.
