Can someone fill me in on the whole Occupy Oakland protest? I still don't get what all that shit was about.
i think they tried to knock off the wall street. Seriously Oakland? The only thing good to come out of that city was....welll.....nothing. Its not even that important. How the hell do they have a football team any ways?
Are you asking what the demonstration is about or the reason the police attacked a peaceful assembly? The demonstration is about economic justice. As you are probably aware, corporations are legally considered people when it's convenient. However, if it had been just any old schmo who embezzled the world economies into the worst recession in nearly a century, do you think the punishment would be free money, fronted by the government and paid off mostly by average to low income earners? That doesn't sound like justice to a lot of people. In short, corporate accountability is the crux of it. As for the attack, well the police are just a government funded terrorist organization who hate nothing more than the constitution.
