Title says it all really I'm hoping that sales of in app items (like level packs) actually count toward your app's ranking in the App store, but I don't know. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
It does affect it in Top Grossing. Look at TapTap Revenge 3, it's a free app with only in-app content that is on the list. Eliminate made it too when it was released as free with in-app content. But it doesn't help your ranking in the General Top 100 (Free or paid) since that is based on downloads.
