This site looked at these two games when both appeared, respectively. High marks all around and quite a few users recommend the series.

I'd post the app store link to the sequel...but even though it shows up at $0.99 in an app store search the actual app page still lists $2.99...so I guess wait a bit to buy. Still, snatch these if you haven't already. Great games, and built for iTouch/Phone originals at that.

Dizzy Bee 2 I might pick up. I'm a fan of the first one, but wasn't planning to buy the second with it's current price.

thanks, I was initially intimidated by the childish theme but I'm too much of a man to question my manliness so Man up and purchase is what I say!

I'd second your recommendation, they're both stellar titles.

i don't have both. does it make sense to just buy dizzy bee 2 since, my understanding based on the reviews, it's just an improved version of the original?

If you're only gonna buy one, get Dizzy Bee 2. A lot more content, such as more levels, and powerups.

I rated the second one lower than the first as it feels like the exact same game, but with more stuff. Not that that's a bad thing per se - but gscal is right - if you're only feeling like spending a buck on either, pick up number 2.

Dizzy Bee website reflects the price changes

I think both games are great. I enjoyed the first one tons!!! The second one was the cream on top.

Get them both, they're just a buck each!

Ooh, nice one, thanks for the heads-up!

The UK App-Store is showing £0.59p for me now, so I guess the US one would also be showing the new price of $0.99c.

    Link here.

I always had the feeling, from the videos, that it was similar to Rolando. How does it compare?

It's not similar to Rolando, you can compare it to Labyrinth, as it's that kind of tilt controls gameplay game. Although yes it could compare to some of the Rolando mazes where you control just the King and have to rotate the maze.

The art style is similar to Rolando, but Rolando is a platformer, while Dizzy Bee is, like Different said, a lot like a labyrinth game.

Yeah...and the light version actually lets you play a few levels. I just picked up Dizzy Bee 2 because I had is sniped....good day again! I keep having to clear off old apps to keep up with the sales.

Is Dizzy Bee 2 worth a dollar, even if I have Dizzy Bee (1) and its my last dollar?

They're both well worth over a buck. It's a steal.
