I just stumbled across the game Distant Shore. It has a really cool and relaxing concept. You walk around on a beach and you collect shells. Every 5 shells you collect, you get an empty bottle. You can then use the empty bottle to write a message and send it out to sea. You can also find messages that have been washed up on your shore. I think I might pick this one up, it looks well made and some of the messages must be pretty funny. It looks like a very simplified version of Lost in Blue for the DS, where all you do is send and receive messages. Just thought I'd post it here because it looks pretty relaxing and well made. I am not the dev, do not worry. I wish I could make apps though...... Probably this summer I will start http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=302006905&mt=8 P.S. Anyone want to tell me an easier way to post links to an app and make it look better than that huge link?
Put the name between HTML: [app][/app] . The thing is: I don't know how spaces work in this. (So it defenitely works with apps with simple, one-word names.)
ok, since they made koi pond that convinces me a little but it seems like theres not much replayability. is there acheivments?
Is it like Zephyr, where you can recieve messages from other people? That app is awesome (get you're first message from a guy in Scandinavia and you'll see what I mean)!
Seriously how come nobody knows about Emoji, seems I can't get a good convo going because the next reply is always "YOU HAVE TO TELL ME HOW TO DO THAT!!!" I just make up things, Like you have to be Steve Jobs first etc....
this is actually pretty interesting. I just bought it and have a lot of fun with it. got into a few conversations. I love how the mailbox is a turtle! that is a turtle, right?
Yep! It's a turtle. It's a mail turtle onastick! Everytime I think about the fact he is on top of a stick I expect CutMeOwnThroat Dibbler to offer me a rat ona stick (If you don't get it you're not a Terry Pratchett fan...)
