I hear there's gonna be a big head super-deformed mode.

    Wow imagine that...Wolverine with a bobble-head like head! :D

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
Ill look foward to this IF it isn't turned into a kiddie game like every other Disney game out there including KH which would have been awesome without Disney... I REALLY look foward to beating the crap out of Mickey though and his voice just fuels it even more every time I hear it...

Might be fun, but knowing Disney it probably won't be a real fighting game.

Wow. That's a bold move from Disney in these times... Anyone know how well Marvel was doing? Probably not that well if it was only worth $4 billion...

that's a buttload of money dude, but considering Disney is richer than god I guess it could seem small in comparison. I'm sure Marvel's employees will continue business as usual, like when Disney acquired Pixar. at least that's what I would think.

Pixar was bought for 7 Billion, but they had just cranked out hit after hit. and we all know comic book movies can be hit or miss

Maybe Disney is trying to draw a bigger audience than just kids (although Pixar is without a doubt one of the best movie studios in history), I mean look at their new 'Alice in Wonderland'. I guarantee that it will be at least PG-13, which is a start for Disney. Maybe this is just their way of getting to the older audience?

Agreed, I also am wondering how it will effect Universal studios Islands of adventure (Disney's #1 Competitor). They have a Marvel superhero island..?

    Oh Shit!

I better go soon! I have a year-long pass to it and I don't want it to be shut down while they get rid of the rides... Jesus, there are so many good rides there I can't believe it...

However, I think this has probably already been taken care of. I don't think Marvel would agree to be bought if Universal had to shut down one of its main attractions. Either the contract allows lenience towards Universal and lets them use the character while paying the same amount of money to Marvel/Disney as before, or Disney ramps up the money and makes Universal pay A LOT more.

Either way, I think both companies understand what's happening, and I bet Disney won't make Marvel kid-ish.

I just read the Orlando Sentinel and they saying that it WON'T affect IoA,
something about any currently owned properties/trademarks east of the Mississippi won't be affected..

As long as Disney lets Marvel do it's thing and doesn't bring in a special "advisor" the decides what's appropriate for the audience, I'm good.
