The only game of this type I’ve ever played was FF Tactics on the PlayStation and it left a lasting impression. This one looks to be fully premium with partial PS controller support. It’s always awesome to see high caliber console and PC games come to the mobile platform, regardless of the price (compared to native mobile games). I probably shouldn’t have left that original comment. It was a vague nod to a comment in another thread that probably no one even understood. Lol VirtualBoyFreak and metalcasket like this. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #11 Quoad, Dec 1, 2022 Bought 1, then got stuck in a never ending loop in the first four levels or so, which swiftly became very tedious. Couldn’t get to a point where I could beat the first mini boss. Progress past that point didn’t appear to consist of much creativity, but (again) of repeating a fairly narrow / “on the rails” series of actions with painfully upgraded characters who had been ground through earlier levels repeatedly, or dying. It was grimly grindy, to the point of replaying levels with frankly minimal replay value (because every enemy spawned at the same point and did the same thing and so it was literally just repeating the same - in themselves repetitive - actions). Is this in any way a semblance of gameplay in 4? I don’t mind grinding, so long as there’s some new challenges arising. Cheers! Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,234 540 113 #12 Brightsiderus, Dec 2, 2022 Uh… when you play past first world in Disgaea 1, the Item World should appear. You can level up items by playing randomly created levels. It’s endless fun. Quoad likes this. I played 1 way back on the originally PSP but at this point I want the best version for my money. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,234 540 113 #14 Brightsiderus, Dec 2, 2022 Well, Nippon Ichi Software always trying to improve their games with each new game. So, 4th game is better in terms of gameplay, because it offers wider variety of actions, except 6th game. It took a step back to implement 3d characters (if I’m not mistaken). And actually I would prefer Disgaea D2 to be released anywhere but PS3. ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 970 141 43 #15 ShinHadoukin, Dec 2, 2022 Thanks.
