It basically just means that any of the red tiles should be clicked before any of the white tiles as long as no tiles are uncovered. Obviously the usefulness of the tiles shifts the very moment that you uncover the first one. I am aware that in many cases this isn't very practical and to be honest after enough Rescue-Missions one will probably have a feeling for clicking the best tile, but given that moves are limited it might help to get an overview over which tiles to avoid in certain situations and get an idea of where to start your search - granted it's almost always the center tile, unless you get the Tiger If for example you were given only a Phoenix and a Discobux to uncover, there would be a total of 5 'empty' tiles on the map. In case of a Seal it would be 6! Using the Spreadsheet you could easily find out where these empty tiles would have to be. (Although I am aware that it's not rocket-science and rather easy to calculate the positions by yourself on the go. I find it to be a handy little sidekick, though )
That's awesome! Though I would like to suggest that for the pig, you just need the 4 corners of your red box. OOOOO OXOXO OOOOO OXOXO OOOOO This way, you'll identify which quadrant the pig is in already without those in the middle.
The wife likes it.... bought the zoopedia Any other NimbleBit games similar to this? She didn't like the tiny towers gameplay.
If you had read the third paragraph carefully, you would've seen that it says once you hit the first animal tile the chances change. I'm talking about if you DON'T hit an animal tile. THAT'S what I'm talking about!
OOOOO OXOXO OOOOO OXOXO OOOOO Interesting, if you get a hit on any of the Xs, based on how I see it, you still need a Max of 5 more tries (6 total) if you're really unlucky, so if you only got the 4th X, thats a total of 9 tries to rescue a pig. I wonder if there is a more optimal way if there were only a pig on the map.
Map button UI : imho the Map submenu should also have a button shortcut for the "under construction" screen (on the top list that has Office, helipad and entrance). This way we wouldn't have to scroll the animals list to the right to go to the last ones. Also it would be nice to reorganize the animals screens to have the most recently discovered animals first.
Pocket Planes is great, doesn't have animals but the gameplay is easy to pick, has a lot of charm, sharing features, and can get complex if you choose to to that route.
I've found the sound to stop working a couple times. Even if I close the game and reopen it. It may have to do with after using the Safari browser. Not sure. If I close everything it will work.
If you pay for the 1 minute disco - does it reset all the countdowns back at zero? Could be useful before heading to sleep.
Question: will I be able to use free tries (for watching a video) forever? Or is there a point where it will say, "no video available, so no free tries"? I'm trying to save bux :s
And later, you get disco parties as rewards for freeing animals (trophies). So it's easy to go back to the farm to free up the needed pig to provoke the disco party. Rereading myself : what the heck am I writing about lol
I binged on the free video offers, and eventually it did run out. Worth it though, as I got tons of animals. I think I may just have to wait until tomorrow for more ads to appear.
Eventually you are able to watch more videos. Save them up for mythical or if you reaaaaaaally want a rare...
I made a table with some of the animal combos on it. Please feel free to add to it - there's only the Farm and a couple of Outback so far. Here it is
and the jurassic zone unlocks at Spoiler 850 animals out of 900 possible, and for 1,000,000 coins I'm at 758 animals and almost 400 cpm. This is gonna take a while now
http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Disco+Zoo/feature.asp?c=57805 Pocket gamer posted a full list of them the other day, with pics showing you all the positions.
