Suggested Changes + Bug? Here are two suggested changes: 1. Put the coin value max cap back to the original amounts. I know some people on this board like the new coin value maxes as this makes the game more difficult and challenging. However, for me, it definitely takes the fun out of the game, as well as lessens the actual game play while I am waiting longer for coin generation. 2. Have consequences to when an animal escapes. For example, let's say a T-Rex gets out and lands in the sheep exhibit. Realistically speaking, the T-Rex would eat a sheep. How about implementing that in the gameplay, where after a minute or so, the predator that escapes starts eating any prey. This would also apply in reverse, that if a sheep escapes and lands in the Raptor exhibit, as an example, where after a set amount of time, the sheep would get eaten. Bug: Sometimes, when I play the game, I see people in the actual exhibits walking around. I am not sure if this was intended, or a bug. Just wanted to point it out. Thanks, frisbee10461
Have to say I agree with both points. If I had to wait as long as I am to get money for 'Ice Age'for all of them, I would've given up long ago!
I'm not so sure about the 2nd point. Animals eating each other would be pretty jarring in such a cutesie game. Also, I'm not a fan of flipping through 50 or so exhibits trying to find tiny animals that escaped and usually just ignore it. Forcing you to play that "mini game" by adding such drastic consequences would make me not want to play Disco Zoo at all...
I'd love to see dinos escaping and eating people... As I said before, the two things I'd like to see is: sending/selling animals to other people (Pocket Planes style) and mating. Mating could open a lot of possibilities. You could mate from same species, to get a new animal, or from different species, to get completely new (and unexpected) animals (liger anyone?) Has anyone played the Alchemy Game by Christian Steinruecken?
Other Suggestions Hello all! Wow, these are some great suggestions. Here are some others. 1. Incorporate Disco Bus into Disco Zoo Gameplay. I loved this idea of a hidden game within the game; however, now that the secret is out, why not make it a part of the actual game? Here is what I mean: a. For the upgrade, instead of tapping the bus nine times, why not simply tap the bus once, and when you do so, a popup window appears, stating that tapping again will have you play the Disco Bus game [change the name from Funky Bus to Disco Bus]. b. Playing this game should, in some way, tie into the game. So, for example, if you pass 50 cars, for example, you earn a Disco Buck, and if you pass 100 cars, you get a free Disco minute [as if you achieved Bronze Status for an animal]. 150 cars = Silver status, 200 cars = Gold status, and 250 cars = Diamond status for Disco Zoo time. Presently, the game is nice, but because it does not really have anything to do with the game, people play it mostly as a novelty. With the changes above implemented into the game, you will see an exponential increase in playing this game. 2. Again, revert the coin generation back to the original amounts. This will increase the playing time for each of us, as the wait time decreases. 3. Increase the amount offered for selling an animal. Previously, it made sense to sell an animal if it were common because the amount of money you could make far exceeded the probability of not acquiring that animal again. Now, that is no longer the case. Here is an example. I was offered $31,000 to sell three foxes. However, now, the price to enter the area associated with this zoo is $7,000. So, for me to make any money, I have to hope that I get three fox animals to appear in a row, which is not likely, as this is a rare animal. So, I don't bother. Again, this lessens the usage of one of the great aspects of the game. Going back to point #2, I believe reverting the coin regeneration to the original amounts will fix this. 4. Put a "blocker" on the hacking tool. Within 24 hours of the new upgrade, several people were boasting about being able to achieve diamond status for the Ice Age. I do not see how this would be possible without using the hacking tool. I think for the next update, there should be a way to prevent this from occurring. 5. Be more open about all of the updates for a future release. We all knew that a new zoo (Ice Age) was going to appear. However, we did not know until the upgrade that the cost for each zoo beyond the first two was going to to increase significantly. For those who already achieved diamond status for all previous zoos, that was no problem. However, for the rest of us, this resulted in levelling up more slowly. This information should have been presented as part of the list of things that are updated. On the other hand, several great features were also not mentioned. As an example, when you achieve diamond status for an animal, a giant statue of the animal appears in the exhibit, and when you SNF the zoo, the statue turns into giant strobe light. Just my two cents, frisbee10461 P.S. SNF stands for Saturday Night Fever, one of the great "Disco" movies of all time.
Disco Zoo Lexicon Hello all: I was playing Disco Zoo with a friend of mine, and we are beginning to use come Disco Zoo terminology, and thought this might make for a great post entry. So, here are some definitions. Feel free to add your own. Diamondize: The process of achieving diamond status for an animal. Discofy: Performing an action in Disco Zoo that results in the zoo transforming into a Disco Zoo. This includes actively discofying your zoo by spending Disco Bucks and passively discofying your zoo by achieving Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond status for one of your Disco Zoo animals. Fussing: A way to let other people know that you are currently playing the hidden Funky Bus game in Disco Zoo. SNF: Saturday Night Fever, one of the great "disco" movies of all time. Another way to say "discofy" Zoojumper: A visitor to the Disco Zoo who jumps the gates and now appears in the actual exhibit.
Funkster Someone who has diamondized all the animals, thereby granting them the esteemed privilege of driving Funky.

The cry that a player makes when he/she has diamondized an animal in Disco Zoo.
I have never used a "hacking tool" and I certainly completed diamond status for Ice Age well within 24 hours after the update. I kept accumulating coins even after I completed the 1.0 game so that I'd be ready for the update. I needed to free about 470 animals to complete diamond status (150 + 320), so let's call that 235 rescue attempts. It costs 40K a pop, but you get money back from freed animals, so I'm guessing it cost me about 4-5 million coins. But you can certainly do 235 rescue attempts in a few hours of gameplay when you have the coins already saved. For a few hours, I was the only player on the Funky Bus leaderboard since I was the first to complete diamond status and also find the mini-game. But don't accuse me of hacking.
I think devs don't take Funky Bus too seriously, tbh. It's just a small toy. A hidden mini-game to have a little fun and laugh about. Besides, Funky Bus passengers never arrive Disco Zoo! XDDD The only thing that I can think of is a small mini-game where, after dodging all the cars, you finally arrive at the zoo parking lot and a short party is held. But Funky Bus is, as you said, just a novelty.
I'm loving this game so far, I've just got one more bronze trophy for the mythical animal in the last stage, then I'm planning to go back to the farm and start to diamondize all my animals. Can't wait for the next update my only issues is that the coin limits are very high now. Maybe you could reduce them or increase the money each animal makes
Hidden Message in Disco Zoo? Hello, all! frisbee10461 here! Recently, I achieved diamond status for all animals in both the Farm and Outback zoos. I noticed that if i go to the office and press Zoo Reviews, both The Farm Times and Outback Observer no longer have an A+, but a diamond icon, which makes sense. However, if I click each review, I see the following message: The Farm Times: Spoiler YOU Outback Observer: Spoiler WILL I haven't been able to get diamond status on any other zoos yet, so I am not sure of the other words of this hidden message. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks, frisbee10461
It was discussed on previous pages, but basically Spoiler it tells you how to unlock Funky Bus (a fun little side game)
Another Cool Feature Hello, all: One other new feature about the upgrade is that when animals escape, you can hear in which exhibits they reside. As you get closer to the target exhibit, a sound increases that resembles a horse's gallop. frisbee10461
Soooo, any timeline for an update? I've been logging in a few times a day to restart the timers so I got about 8mil saved up since diamondizing everything.
Sorry, no timeline for an update at this point. The Android version of the game will be out soon, at which point we'll be able to decide what will go in the next update. We have lots of ideas, so we have to figure out what we actually want to put in next. O.
