Bought after trying the free version alone.

    This is a great game!
Tons of replay value, and will be great to play with friends and family!!!
I've been playing it on my iPad, and while there's no big difference, an universal version would be great!!!

Also, I don't mind the AI, but a sort of online game matching system would rock!

Congratulations on the game, I hope it becomes a success and we can see improvements and additions!

Race me!!! SAF is the name.

I have a suggestion for another control option. The flick works pretty good but can be touchy at times for me. Can you make another option to pull the disc back like a slingshot and aim and release for tighter accuracy?

    Thanks!

Is anyone else having issues with no notification badge? It's never worked for me. I've had some turns waiting for me and I see no badge.

edit: are there supposed to be badges notifying you of a turn?

Currently the game only pushes alerts/sounds. We will look at pushing badges in the future.

Great! Because various situations can cause you to miss an alert. (Or even if you do notice it.)

You do go back to the very start of your turn, and essentially lose the current turn. You’re not put back where you fell off, but right back where you started, as if you never even got a turn at all. I think that’s punishment enough  (Plus the energy lost.)

Just chiming in to say kudos on a decent game, that could be a great game.

I have the physical board game this is based on (Pitch Car) and having an async digital version is very cool.

There seem to be some issues/glitches with updating games/turns when you're still in the game sometimes -- hopefully that will get straightened out.

I'd also really like to see any turns taken since my last turn played out when I come to the game, so I can see the action. I know it's possible to back it up yourself and watch them, but I'd really like the current turns to auto play for review -- like Carcassonne does, for example.

A track editor would be nice, but probably a lot to ask for. Since the board game is built out of track pieces that you can put together any way you want, it just feels lacking without one.

EDIT: Oh! I forgot one other thing - I'd really love to see better marking of where the various players are when you are in overhead view. Like name boxes with pointers (a la Nascar telecasts) or something to make it more obvious. The overhead view was a brilliant inclusion, it's just hard to tell what's a player and what's an oil/water spot sometimes.

Here's to hoping future updates really put a polish on this game to push it over the line into greatness!

You missunderstand, I'm talking about you getting knocked off by somebody else not falling off during your own turn.

Do abandoned games expire? I have some games around 2 weeks old, still waiting for the other player(s) to take a turn.

I see what you mean then. What about getting less than zero energy? A yellow penalty bar (maybe worth -50% energy) which you must burn through before you start gaining positive energy?

If it has been more than 8 days since the last turn you can click on the game to auto-resign that player.

I just noticed the discs have real English (or whatever you’d call it with the friction of a spinning disc). Their path curves realistically when they’re spinning. The spinning is not just for show!

    Nice :D

    Ah—thanks!

I feel like I got screwed in this race the other day. Here's what happened...

I was leading a race versus 3 others, and come around the last turn of lap 2 into the straightaway. Someone placed a bomb right before the finish line, I hit it, it sent me flying in a straight line directly over the finish line and My disc landed back on the track on that same straight and slid to a stop.

I thought I got extremely lucky and was happy I stayed on the track, EXCEPT (!) it didn't advance me to the next lap! Now everyone that was behind me has passed me and I'm in last.

    Bug?

    Oh well.
