I think the problem with asynch and Food Fight is that the game plays rather disjointedly. Food Fight is a quick game to play live because the draft phase works like 7 Wonders. Everybody picks a card at the same time and you pass your hand. Repeat. Whether there's 2 players or 6, it takes about the same amount of time. The only thing that takes longer is the battle stage since with more people you're more likely to have multiple meals that need to be battled for, but those are quick so it's not that much different with a larger crowd. Anyway, this is now off topic.
When I said async keep good games alive and kickin, by good I also meant games in which async makes sense. Terrible shame when a good game that could use async doesn't have it (looking at you Neuroshima Hex).
Same here. I've been playing this game for well over a year. Oh, and I've lost hope for new tracks. LALeaf on DD.
Well that's good news, but I hope they hurry it up. Love this game and more tracks (and surprises) are always good. I hope they also make it update better when playing online and trying to play it live. Also icon badging improvements. I.e. the usual requests.
Awesome! I'll buy some IAP to celebrate I missed previous tournaments (busy, busy) but I'd hope to join in if there are more! PS I haven't been using Notification Center long, but it does seem to mitigate the missing-badges problem: it gives you another way to notice it's your turn.
I don't know of anybody saw this, but on twitter pixelocity posted that they are thinking an update will be out in a couple of weeks
I play this everyday, got a bunch of games going. Username is Zincous in the game too, start a game with me. Looking forward to new tracks.
Same here. Zincous and I play all the time. Him and Indy are great at killing your win/loss ratio. If you care about your score, watch out for those two.
This is still the only async game I can't get tired of. Just cut my list of games on Draw Something down to 5. Quite SWF after a few weeks. Quit all the other popular ones in just a few weeks as well. Been playing DD for over a year now..total games finished is almost at 1500. Always have 20 games going, and I play multiple times everyday.
Same here except I have had scrabble for almost year as well (but have not played a diligently). Just cut my Draw Something games down, deleted WWF after a few months, deleted scramble after 3 days, deleted hanging after a week, and been through a handful of async strategy games. Oh and I am playing wordsworth right now, but have only two games going, down from 15 when I started with it.
I did reinstall, if anyone would like to hit me up for a match that would be great. Same user name as here.
