Trooperlooper and I are now on the right page. Just waiting for MightyMiniMan now. If tournament boss has his email address can you send him an email nudge to let him know to check on his Disc Drivin game?

He'll log in to find himself in 4 matches. The two 'false starts' are clearly marked (in chat) as not being for tournament standing, and will just be played as exhibition matches.

Are you posting the results anywhere for us to see? Never mind, I see they're on your blog, just not on the sign up page.

    Congrats!

Our races are flowing fairly regularly now.

I mean no disrespect from my comments gospvg, thanks for taking this on.

    :) That's ok.

Once all the leagues are over I will post the final results on here (only the winner of each league goes through to the 2nd round. It is only a 3 round championship which should make it fairly quick & then I can start another - CRAZY !! )

League 9 is now officially underway, all three races in proper circulation.

Only one person from each league goes through to the next round? Why not the top two advance? :)

How are you going to work it after the first round when there are 11 players? Odd number, so what, leagues of 4-4-3? 3-3-3-2?

IMHO there really has to be a 'wildcard' berth to round out the entries to 12 and make all races in the second round equal in number of players (either 4x3 or 3x4). To me that's fairer than arbitrarily giving some players the advantage of less racers in one of the second-round matches.

    Also, what's the tiebreaking procedure?

    (a) All three teams finish with 1 win, 1 place, and 1 show. All have 3 pts. What happens?
    (b) One team gets 2 wins and 1 show (4 pts). One team gets 1 win and 2 places (4 pts). What happens? Do wins (or head-to-head record between the tied teams) act as a tiebreaker or does that tie necessitate some sort of playoff (or - gasp - coin flip?)

All the losing players will go into a pot & one name drawn to make up the 12th place.

There will be 4 leagues of 3 players each. With the 4 winners going through to the final.

Tie- Break the only way to decide would be to the players who have the same score let them race each other & the winner goes through.
