I really hope we see some updates soon. It's really been way too long.

I'm LALeaf if anyone wants to play. I'm a pretty regular player, and have been playing for, what, six months now.

Hahaha it's funny. Complaining it's not universal? The game has a different ui on the iPad.

Complaining about updates? The dev isn't obligated to update anything. If you bought it, you bought it because of how it was when you bought it. And I bet those of you complaining about universal and updates use the ad version

Actually, I bought the game earlier this year- y'know, with money- and have been playing regularly since.

The dev has promised updates for months now. I would even be willing to pay for new tracks- that's how much I like the game. I've communicated this to the dev, along with other suggestions to improve the game (even mirror imaging the tracks would double the number of tracks).

However, if updates don't come, the game will fade away for me and many others. At that point, I obviously would stop recommending the game to others......so no new purchases.

I think it's time you get off your high-horse.

good job of buying it, but note that you aren't the only one that's complaining. so its very possible that they haven't

but a quote from your previous post... "It's really been way too long." tell me that doesn't sound like you feel like the dev is obligated to bring updates. guess what, no matter if they say they will or won't, they still aren't obligated to update an already complete game. you bought it because of how it was when you bought it. and guess what, getting six good months out of a game implies excellent replay value. which means updates aren't really required. they'd be nice, but they aren't something you have to get.

oh and really, how many people have you gotten to get the game? after 6 months, I'd think you'd already told most everyone you'd want to tell about it. and guess what else? you aren't the only one that gets others to get it. the game has been out for a really long time now, and has recieved great support. IDK what the hell else you want.

and also, the dev said new tracks were being worked on. Wouldn't it just be better to wait. these things take time.

and guess what? I'm not on some high-horse. I'm just realistic. and I'm not rolling in the dirt. :p

Well, it makes me feel all tingly inside that you approve of me.

When a dev specifically states that updates are coming, I hold them to that. This isn't coming from nowhere. And it has been way too long. I really want to keep playing, and as I stated, I would be happy to give the dev more money to play new levels.

I'd say I've gotten around 15 people or so to buy the game so far. Is that good enough for you?

I keep making new friends all the time......

Geez. You understand this is a forum, right? A place to discuss stuff, y'know? There is nothing wrong with making requests or complaining about stuff......that's what forums are for.

    Not so much.

When a dev says updates are coming. and then they say they're working on new content. and then you complain it's taking too long. there is a problem there. developing stuff takes time, and lots of it. just be patient. There are times to complain about things and times to shut up. a dev working on a promised update isn't something you complain about. complaining about updates taking too long or not coming is a problem. no matter what the dev says, they still don't have to bring you new content. and if they are, then don't push them. the only time the dev has to update (and they technically still don't) is if their game is broken.

and I never said you weren't doing enough to promote the game, like you suggest. my point was, even if you keep making new friends, adding up all the people you know over 6 months, you convinced 15 people to buy the game. over the next 6, if the dev updated all the time with new stuff even, you'd have a hard time doing 5. and my point on that originally was that sales come from all over the place. just because you stop recommending the game, it doesn't mean that there'll be no new purchases.

    Blah.

Seriously, who made you the dev spokesperson? In the future, will you please post when the correct time to complain is? Because clearly, you seem to know everything.

I don't think this is the time or place for you to be complaining about people complaining. I'll let you know when that time comes.

in other words, I was right, you just don't like that I was trying to keep this thread from being overrun by complaints about an update that's coming? so you resort to sarcastic remarks. cool. nice to know you can hold up a reasonable debate. what I said was reasonable. what ^this^ is... is stupidity. ;)

No, you were not right. I don't think that there is anything wrong with people voicing their complaints and suggestions about the game in this thread. This is a forum, a place for discussion.

What I originally said (I really hope we see some updates soon. It's really been way too long.) was reasonable. There was no need for you to come here to tell me to stop complaining.

Putting a ;) after your last sentence doesn't make it any less rude.

Geez you guys. Chill out. We would all enjoy some new content and I would love some sort of IAP so I can support this dev. Let's just keep asking and I'm sure the Dev will deliver eventually. Let's get back to racing for now. Dizzyjw here. come and race me

So---I take it they're not going to add 1 player vs computer at all?? Been since last December. OK, I have no interest in this, then.

Playing against yourself is also better than AI. Two turns per round instead of one against a lame computer opponent? Sounds good to me.

I didn't read through the posts but this game is seriously lacking of statistics. I'd like to know W/L ratio and the stats on each track... That's why I am loosing interest in this (nice) game...

Totally agree. I can't believe they've left out stats and rankings. That would be awesome to know.

No. I am not connected to wi-fi very often, unfortunately. Most games that are online have the option to play solo, but not this one. So...... :(

You can play local, just set up a 2 to 4 player game and pass the device around. Still good fun.
