After looking for a device to serve as a solution for the classic nintendo games which will never exist on my idevice, I came across the Dingoo a320. I was curious as it's emulation software is supposedly very good. I was curious as to what people think of it or people's experiences with it. Apparently it is from china but available in the US through online retailers.
Here is the dingoo running advance wars at the same time as a nintendo DS

It looks like a good solution to jailbreaking, and is the size on a gameboy micro. What are your opinions? The lowest price on a new one is about $80. Is it worth it? if you own one, what are your experiences?

Why would you want spend $80 for something that you can get free? And be forced to carry two devices with you?

Why not get a PSP on craigslist for $70 and mod it.... It plays EMU's perfectly... With buttons!

Well, this is much smaller (gameboy micro sized) and although it does have a smaller screen, the $80 is retail. There are some on ebay priced at $45 and could probably find some for less.

Plus this was built for emulation, and it is much easier. when you connect to the computer, all you do is drag the rom onto the dingoo, and it is ready to play.

If you want it, go for it. I've read it doesn't emulate SNES games perfectly, but I'm pretty sure they'll update the emulator or some in the fan community will do it.

Basically the Dingoo is like the gp2x handheld from a while back. Korean made, iirc, and open source.
