Each zone also hold 5 different artifacts that can be collected to complete the a trophy room in the professors mansion. The game has been on the App Store for a couple of months where we have target marketed an audience in the Philippines for our soft launch. After several rounds of bug fixing, we feel that the game is ready for a more worldwide launch. We would love to hear what everyone thinks of the game and all constructive feedback is appreciated. We just released a major update to the game today. Diggy Loot v 1.5 is now available on the App Store worldwide. This new update features 40 new levels, divided into 2 new areas (Jurassic and Ice Age). We have also revamped a lot of the previous levels to make the early gameplay more accessible to everyone. Our developers have also refactored a lot of code and also together with our artists they have done an awesome job in reducing the size of the game by almost 60%!! If anyone has time to try the game it would be awesome if you could take the time to give us some constructive feedback on the game. Cheers! Better than Fortnite. Looks easier than it is. Still in the Egypt zone. A thinking persons’ digger where I rarely complete a level in one go. Fortunately replay coffee is free, permitting advance planning for the next attempt. Interested to see how future levels develop. Later: Between levels some gameplay tips appear on screen for about half a second which is faster than my reading speed. Increasing the display time would help. Yes, you can try a level as many times as you want. It's only upon completing a level that the energy is lost. Now in the beginning you have 25 energy (enough to finish Egypt), while later it is capped at 5. For all the future zones, you will see new puzzle mechanics implemented making the game feel less repetitive (imo). Our initial testing was on an iPhone 5 and the loading time was long enough for us to read the hints, but I do agree that they go away a little too fast on newer phones. I'll tell the team to look into a way to either slow it down, use shorter hints or place them on a different spot. We also don't want people to have to stare at the loading screen unnecessary. This time we have redone the tutorial, to keep it more short and straight to the point. We’ve gone from a total of 3 tutorial levels, down to 1. Since our tutorial levels creates a lot of stop in the gameplay we figured that people might be more pleased with it being limited to 1 level. The professor had also gotten a more modern makeover. In general we have also done a lot of code refactoring and tweaking so that the game will run as smooth as possible. https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1161312833 Best regards, Christian @ Ironwood Studio (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
