Im also getting the purple screen , i'm using an iphone 6s plus with ios 10.2 (I havent updated it to 10.2.1yet)
Super sorry to hear So just for clarification, you were able to play, but after leaving the game and coming back a while later, you now get stuck at the menu screen with no logos or buttons? And the game had re-launched (showing the 3 Sprockets logo)? Or have you never been able to boot it? I'm trying to collect as much info as I can to work out a way to repro the issue. Without a way for us to repro it, we have no idea what it is or how to fix it
There's a lot I like about this game, but the freemium aspect completely ruins it. After every play it says, "Hey, do you want to do twice as well as you're doing? Watch a video!" If I don't want to watch a video it makes me feel like I have to grind away for twice as long to make up for it. Can I pay some money to remove that problem? No. I just have to watch videos all day long, or feel like I'm wasting my time. I will never understand how happy developers seem to be to ruin good games. Just have a price for people who want to play the game without tons of silly payments and the need to watch adverts to get anywhere. And for everyone else, leave those options in.
Just buy the 1.99 Iap to permanently double the card time. The end. The only other reason to watch ads is to double the gems, which doesn't make you live longer or anything. I think you're overreacting. It would be nice if there was a permanent double gems iap though.
The whole game is based around gems, so it's silly having video watching as the only way to go about getting them. Maybe you're right that I'm overreacting, but hey, how much would games like this be without the nickel and dime approach? So much better...
Watching ads is def not the only way to get them. You get them constantly while playing. It would be cool if there was a remove all ads iap where everything was doubled all the time I guess. I have to give them credit for not doing the "wanna revive? Watch an ad!" Bs though. I hate when games do that. The card system makes this game feel like a digger rouge like or something, which is awesome. Anyway, I'm rambling.

I was playing OK and after being killed the game restarted for some reason, I do see the 3 rockets logo, and then I'm stuck at the screen after that one, I see the purple background with the espiral pattern, like if it was the 1st frame of the animation that follows (I don't see any game logo it gets stuck after the 1st frame). I also updated my iphone to the latest version and restarted the game but no luck, maybe re-installing the game fixes it, but I hope it's fixe-able
Thanks for the extra info. I really appreciate the help in trying to track this down. One last Q... when the game gets stuck, is the background rotating? Or is it sitting stationary?
Loves it. Ever since Digby Forever Free was announced.I've been dying to try out 3 Sprocket's interesting modern take on the nostalgic Mr. Driller .Compared to the original u had to pay 3(!) times more for the same stuff in the ingame shop.
Only two bots to fully upgrade than I got all ten of them drilling like bazooka's he he. A few more songs can't help it. Take my drill away. I just can't drill enough. Driver's drill.
I found the best one from Sash-O, I still haven't found what I am drilling for, really made me laugh.
Man, SO much going on at once! Don't know where to look! Beautiful looking, great explosions, I gotta admit! Not sure if this is for me though.
Of all the new games this week, I play this game the most, it has very fluid controls, I play this game on an Ipad Pro and it stands on a stand, so I am very relaxed if you could call it relaxed behind the screen and touching with one finger the screen and it's awesome this way. I also discovered today that the Gem Leaderboard is also very interesting, I first went only for the most depth Leaderboard but I really like the Gem Leaderboard as well now, you need very different cards, you need to watch an ad to double your gems for 10 minutes and you need the cards that get you the most gems. And this brings me to the card system which is very cool, you need to try some setups to get you the best depth or the most gems and this experimenting is were the fun is. I also got my driller robots fully upgraded today, that's very handy, now the coins start rolling in and you can buy 12 cards for 200 coins, which goes really fast now that I am fully upgraded. Everyone bites the driller...... I'm your yesterday driller...... Coming down on the nightdrill..... Your in my heart, your in my drill...... Smalltown driller. At the moment I am having the best time of my life as you may have noticed ha ha.
