I got to finally log in and play for a while until my computer randomly crashed... Soooo what ever. Was fun as I never played Diablo before.
Its great-had to change my server from Europe to The Americas-lots of error 32s later finally got in and been in fine a few times after that-really enjoying it-not really got far but im Level 2 Barbarian cant wait to play more tomo
Going to wait until it's released in 3 weeks or so. It comes out just days after my last final. Can't freaking wait. Dungeon crawlers are pretty much my favorite genre of games along with RTS.
Deciding whether or not to download it. 15 GB seems like a lot and I don't know if my family has unlimited bandwith or internet or whatever....
It's not 15 GB -- more like 6 GB installed, which I would guess translates to 3-4 GB compressed. Totally worth it.
Just realized this. When I went back to check it I guess i read it wrong and it said it's recommended to have 15. makes a lot more sense now.
It's completely worth checking it out, even if you can't bring the character into the retail version. It is so well thought out wonderfully streamlined. I also love that books and lore are are audio spoken, so no having to stop to read walls of text. The animation is superb!
Alright so I'm ready to play but the login button is grayed out... Anyone know if this is due to the fact they are experiencing server side issues? EDIT: Nevermind had to use my email
Haha at least they told us that was going to happen while they raise the player cap! Anyways on my Mac Mini intel core i5 intel graphics 3000HD 8 GB of ram I'm able to run the game smoothly with these settings: Res: 1280x800 (16:10) V sync: On Fullscreen: On Textures: high Shadows: low Physics: Low Clutter: Med Anti Aliasing: off (doesn't look like it makes that much of a difference) Low Fx: On
Keep putting in your password and retrying, non-stop - after about 12 attempts I got in. Day 2 I got in after 1 attempt.
