Well folks, it's inching a little closer to release we hope, and today brought some interesting news. Namely, the fact that you have to have a constant internet connection to play, even Single-Player. Which basically means there is no real offline play. Also noting, that they have an Auction house like in WoW, dealing with real cash. I know this is nothing new or anything... but with the success of WoW's AH, why would they decide to deal with real cash in the AH? I don't know sounds pretty stupid to me... but I mean you can do in game-gold on the AH as well.. but the addition to in game cash is just blah... Discuss.
They really aren't. They just... really aren't. However, I usually tend to heir to the side of things that aren't good for me ^.^
Get started on a PS3 port already! I won't be buying the game on PC because I don't have one... but it looks awesome. I'm not too fond of the online requirement though.
I think the major factor in the decision to make an auction house dealing in actual cash is that Blizzard will take a "small cut" of every transaction. Basically, they're swapping out their gold-plated Humvees for similarly-metaled hybrids. Gotta save the planet. Oh, and don't forget about the extension on the summer homes. All nine of them.
