Saw that that live last night. While the video is well-done, it shows us nothing in terms of gameplay, meh.
Older Beta Footage: From September, but the best I could find. shows very, very early beta gameplay. I think the recently announced diabo-esque Lineage Eternal from NCsoft may throw it off it's A-game, but it definitely won't take all, probably even the majority of the players away from Diablo 3. Plus it's only been recently announced in Korea.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel In my Eyes it will be the Fight of the Year in this Genre. What NCsoft have shown so far of Lineage Eternal did made some heavy impression on me. I still love Diablo III and will play it on a daily Base when it will be out but it`s nice to know that NCsoft is pushing the Genre to a new Level. I had expected something similar from Blizzard but this Time they didn`t manage it so far to impress me on the same Level as NCsoft has done it.
They both look pretty amazing. Love dungeon crawlers. Excited for the release of Torchlight 2 as well.
Oh yea, and I think you control it with swipes of your mouse.Actually, If I remember correctly, I believe I heard one of those video game sites saying they were thinking about an iPad release.
even tho i grew up with diablo. i have to say im gonna buy Lineage Eternal.. that looks like its gonna be a fun game. i was sorta turned off buy the auction thing in diablo 3.. blah.. i just want to let my brain go numb for a few hours and enjoy the game not try to make money off fake stuff. at any rate, ill def be checking out lineage diablo time will tell. chris.
What about the term "opening cinematic" confuses you enough to think it would include gameplay footage-esp. since they've released several movies of gameplay already?
