Hello HG VAMPIRE, My one suggestion would be to get rid of the enemy and your turn box that always comes up. It really slows down the action, besides it's not really needed. You know the enemy will be attacking after you hit the end turn button. And you always know when it is your turn anyways when the blue, green markings on the floor appears. Thanks
L.Lawliet, It looks like you can get a total of eight members on your team. Only four can be played at any one time. If you can eventually save about 45,000 dollars , then you can open up a fifth hero slot. Money earned after missions will level up heroes. Each hero has three special skills to learn. As the heroes level up ,those skills become more powerful. You can also increase total hp and mana regeneration rate. So far , I have a Demon hunter(archer), Thief and Monk (healer) in my party. Health bottles , mana bottles and money can be found in battle as well. Bottles are rare to find though. It pays to search for chests and hidden items in the level.
Thanks for the impressions. Went ahead and downloaded it. Actually it's a pretty solid game. I like the art as well. I wished you could save midbattle but maybe it does save? It's not clear. I was expecting a game like this to have multiple save slots and a "main screen". There's really only a "play" button. I have some critiques, the main issue is the splash screen when you skip to next turn. That's completely not necessary. It breaks the flow of the game. Since nothing happens except a small load time, there's no need to switch to a splash screen between each turn. It's a little irritating. If they need to keep the load signal there, just put the load circle in the middle of the screen without swapping the screens. For turn based games, flow is really important to a smoother gameplay. Also I like the quality of the game but the text boxes / fonts make it look less than stellar. I feel like it'd look much better with some small visual changes, at least font wise. Just a suggestion from someone who does graphic design. Great game. Hard to tell how long or vast it is since it seems to just put you straight into battle constantly.
Always check out the map with your characters! a lot of healing and mana potions as well as gold are hidden in every level. My experience is that tables, graveyards and markets are good to find extras. so dont just quite fast
you can upgrade each character of course. you can only upgrade them when you reached a specific level.
You're right, this game is great, but it is still different than the 1st one Do you guys plan on making a new game that continues in the same way as the 1st one, but with more classes and more features? I remembered how fun it was playing that old version a looong time ago (on my old Nokia flip phone, haha). That would be an amazing game as well! But if you guys plan to do so, just make sure it'll work on an iPod Touch 4 Oh, and just a suggestion or two... You can call the 3rd one: Devils & Demons: Reborn or Devils & Demons: Resurrection
Great game! If you remove the splash screen between turns i will definitely pay money to invest in your game Btw, how can you tell when your characters get stronger or level up? I'm a bit confused since they don't have an experience bar. The game is getting difficult since my characters still do the same amount of damage as the beginning of the game.
you have a level up screen before each fight or in the left lower corner of the travel map you can upgrade the characters. you need to get xp points...
Gorgeous turn based rpg. Pleasantly Suprised, definately worth a look. Ads are excessive, but not a deal breaker, the $2 IAP to remove seemed reasonable, considering the quality of game play. A few nitpicks: Skills offer some char development , buts it's a fairly linear progression, Wishing there was gear manage as well, Sprite animations are nice, but chars images face only one direction, and while you can skip AI moves if your impatient, It would be nice if you could just increase game speed during AI move. Nothing ground breaking here, but it's a beautiful well crafted rpg, that deserves more praise. The pixel art alone makes this worth checking out.
gmattergamers you can skip the AI move in the upper right corner as you mentioned. So you dont have to watch it. the character development speeds up fast when you have more heroes. I have bought the double xp and this speed the game up a lot.

It's really worth the 2 bucks to remove the ads. Gorgeous game, cool gameplay. I really like it so far. Just added my 3rd character to the party.
