Man, been away from the computer for a few days and come back to find a new Radiangames shooter has been released. Fantastic surprise. Radiangames remains one of the best developers on iOS and I can't wait to play this tonight.
Bought this game wrote a 5 star review but none of the achievements are working. I hope this is fixed in an update.
I completed practice mode with 50 or 51 deaths, which made me proud somehow (probably just amazed that I had fewer deaths than Andy) until I started playing Hardcore mode and realized I expended all my energy, reflexes, and hand-eye coordination on Practice mode, which resulted in me sucking. I'll have to try Hardcore mode again after some rest. This game is all business.
Ha, yeah hardcore hurts so good. My best is Wave 27 (of 50, I believe). Have unlocked all 4 abilities but have only been using Annihilator so far.
Luke was so kind as to respond to me quickly. For those who love earning achievements, he is already working on the issue and it should be fixed soon.
I have bought every app that Radian Games have come out with - pure quality. Of course, I suck at them compared to some of the big boys here at TA, but I enjoy playing even at my much lower level. Some of the best twin stick shooters on the App store are made by these guys. Congrats on the new release!
This is a great game. Hardcore modus is real challenging. I've played a couple of games and made it to wave 25, using the Annihilator as well. I'm on place 5 at the moment and right behind you Andy. Looking forward to invest more time to kill those creeps. P.S. It feels like you're in the Super Crossfighter universe, but fighting with a tank now. And some of the sound effects sound familiar from Super CF. I like it.
I've played all radian games and love them. In practice mode..I've died 112 times and I'm in round 13. LOL. The ship seems sluggish compared to other radian games like inferno...doesn't turn fast or move fast.
Because it's a tank! it's more in the tradition of tank from Atari or Tank Hero 1&2, but in a future setting and with following lovely creeps.
Yes, made it through the practice mode, took me 25 lives at all. Could've been better, but I think level 16 took me several lives. :/ Will work on that. Hardcore mode here I come...
Has anyone tried this game with an MFi controller? It won't work with my CTRLi. It just acts like there's no controller present, including the Gamepad option being grayed out in Options. My controller works fine with other games including other Radiangames games.
$2 and 51.2 MB later, my Radiangames collection is complete. Hopefully Devastator's been doing awesome for Luke and we end up seeing Gigatron come to life.
I had some issues at first too. I went to Settings > Bluetooth, switched it on and it kept saying "not detected". Tried new batteries, rebooting, etc. I can't remember how I got it to work, but try syncing the controller through the settings app first, then starting the game. I've completed several in-game achievements but I'm not getting any to unlock in Game Center. Are they working for anyone else? Edit: Thanks, Sash-O. Should have looked back a page :/
Thanks. In my case the controller was connected to my iPad just fine, and other games could see it. Just Devastater was acting like no controller was connected. Rebooting my iPad fixed the problem, and now it works great with my controller.
