Took the dive. iPad Mini Retina, running 7.0.3. Firing up boosters in 3..... 2..... 1.................. .... lift off. Runs like a dream, 5 mins into the game.
Oh man, I loved the first game and human revolution. I haven't had time to get to this but there's no way I can resist this price.
There are a lot of reviews about incompatibility with Minis so I imagine it's not an iOS 7 issue as much as a hardware one. Playing through fine on my iPad 2 on iOS 7, definitely worth it at that price so far!
Perhaps starting a new game is different...or was it updated? I couldn't continue my game and had to delete.
I started a new game as I picked it up in this sale. I tried the demo a month or so ago and had a few crashing problems which put me off buying but it's been crash-free so far with the full game. As a new purchaser, can't say if it's down to an update or not then, just seems to be a very tempremental game to say the least!
I did some quick research and the incompatibility is based on your device's chip and/or amount of RAM. A5 chip or less than 1GB of ram and you'll have problems on iOS7. I tried the free version and it ran great on my iPad 4 so I bought the game, have not tried the full game yet. The controls seemed good, I was very impressed and once I had experienced the game there was no question whether it was worth a mere 99 cents.
If you do, let me know how you liked it! PS - Stealth way more fun (and easier due to controls) than direct run and gun
Just grabbed this. Anyone else have sound problems? It's crackling like a 1930's radio.. Can barely hear a thing for the crackling sound.
