Universal Deus Ex: The Fall - (by SQUARE ENIX)

I haven't played since iOS7 update. On iOS6.x it played well. I'll open it and run about a bit, and let you know.

It should work fine for you. It doesn't run incredibly smoothly. It's pretty decent though. No crashes, in the little bit I tried it for.
Actually, I'm really looking forward to the eventual update. This is my favourite FPS on the AppStore.

How does this sound:

For cover tactics, when in the vicinity of a cover object, double-tap and hold on the 'move' v-pad. Keep holding down until you are ready to stand out of cover. Under fire immediately and quickly change your mind? Double-tap and hold again to get back behind cover in a hurry, steady to aim.

All of that control work would probably go by so quickly and easily, making the controls more smooth in general. Plus, you have one less button on the screen for gamers to behold the fantastic visuals of the game.

 

The problem with double tapping is that it's incredibly untrustworthy. You can already use tap-controls (either single or double tap) to move in/out of cover.

 

Any word about a content update?

Except it doesn't... because it no longer works on iOS 7

 

Well, it does still work well on devices with 1GB of RAM, but on the iPad 2, mini and 5th-gen iPod Touch using iOS 7, no, not so much.

 

In ipad4 with ios 7.0.3 it works just fine.

 

Yeah,also on iPhone 5 work fine(iOS 7.0.3) The issues with iOS 7 Are related only on A5 devices,on A6/A7 devices work well!

 

What about the iPhone 4S? Isn't that an A6 device? That's what I'm using...

 

The 4S is an A5 device, but it also only has 512MB of memory, which is the source of the problem in this case.

 

Does this mean I will never be able to play the game? Or is there a chance they'll update it?

 

The developers are actively working to address the problem, but there's been no timeframe given as to when it might be resolved. There's not much you can do at this point but wait, unfortunately.

 

Got it during the sale without reading that it doesnt work on iPad mini and iOS7 anymore... hope they fix this soon.

 

Man I can't wait for the next part to this game. Since I beat it three times, I'm not angry in the slightest that it doesn't work. I got so much more then my $7 worth. I do hope they patch it soon though.

 

I will never update my ipad mini to iOS7 for this reason. I mean not just this game, but a lot of older games that havent been optimized. I guess i wont have a choice when i get the mini with retina, but at least with that i can play the iOS7 -only games
