I noticed this went on sale today? Can anyone tell me how this runs on a 5S. I'm sure the answer is good, but I've seen some other games have problems with the new hardware for some reason. IB3 for example.

 

The iTunes description doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, but for those who've tried this game on an iPod 5G, does it work half normal or does it crash like a drunk driver?

 

I guess I'll buy this, doesn't seem like Square games get big sales so 2.99 seems all right.

 

The reason is that the next gen rogue chip inside the 5S handles some graphic routines different than the actual/old generation and that for, a game needs to be specially optimised for it. There is a nice explantation at AnandTech

 

5S should be absolutely fine.
Any issues that are introduced by iOS7 are also worked on at highest priority so please stay put (these affect devices on the lower-end of memory spectrum).
So yeah, if you are wondering weather to get it or not, now is a good time to do so, even if your device will need to wait for an update .

 

This game crashes a shit ton on the iPad. Even after this so called update. This is lame.

iOS 7 update downloaded and I redownloaded DE The Fall and it works on my 4s now.

Update: played a bit more and still no issues. I was worried loading saved info would crash it like Dead Ahead still does but all good.

 

Still crashes on my 4s/ios7... Cut scenes freeze and then speed up. Not really a first-person shooter fan on touch devices, but this one really pulled me in. Wish I could play more than five minutes of it...

 

Any idea when this update is going to go through ??? I still can't play on my 4s and iPad since the iOS 7 update. Also when is the android version coming???

 

All it does is crash.

 

I've had a -little- luck with airplane mode turned on. Man-I wish Apple had help out with ios 7 on borderline devices like the ipad 2 and ipad mini...too much crap is going on, chewing up memory.

 

It's off my phone for now. I keep crashing in the second mission just walking around. I'll try again when the next chapter hits.
