Thanks a lot for the tip.. Needed security level 2.. Brawled my way in and came out from that very door that locked me out lol.. I am addicted to this game!!! This is really unlike the typical fps.. The genre of adventure seems to suit this right
So, I entered the Belltower Helipad, and instantly knew something was wrong. There wasn't a single unit enemy around; no mercenaries or the drone. I placed the bug, and tried to leave. Where the elevator should have been was nothing. Just darkness. Help me please.
Sure I've got the game. Does the autosave overwrite your own save? If so, it's a big oversight by the developers. It hasn't done so to my knowledge, but I save constantly.
I've had autosave switched off from the start and I always save manually. However, there still seems to be some form of autosave in play after certain circumstances, if you try opening your saved game, overwriting your manual save.
If that's the case, it's really an unbelievable bad design choice of the developer! One should be able to count on ones saves in any game. If autosave overwrites manual saves, it completely undermines the players trust in any saves. especially if autosave is turned off by the player. I'm dumbfounded.
If autosave-off overwrites stuff anyway then it's a bug, that surely wasn't intentional. We'll look into it! The 'empty' helipad is completely new to me. If lift doesn't work, can you try using the entrance to move back to Belltower base? (re-enter). At any case, I'll report this, hope you can recover. As for Nightshades, there are 6 ways to get access via 2 routes I hope you found one that suits you.
Anyway it's good they are looking into it, but they should have implemented it from the start. Hopefully it will be sorted soon and I can get back to playing...
I just finished the first episode a few minutes ago, here's what I thought about it: Everything from the artstyle to the music is faithful to DE:HR. I loved that I was able to finish the game without killing anyone, the mutliple routes that were still present and fun to find. Th graphics are good but they lack real time lightning and as such it contrasts with the environment. I'm really awaiting the second episode but I'd like to see some improvements. Enemy IA needs to be better, voice acting is inconsistent and that's a shame too. I want more diversity and less back tracking. Facial animations also need to be redone and the cinematics feel too static. Also I think (correct me if i'm wrong) that the "Ghost" achievement that was awarded when no alarms were triggered is gone and that's too bad as I really loved to play that way (and be rewarded for it). But all in all it was well worth the asking price and a really fun game.
I noticed that too when seeing the announcement trailer. Is he really based on Jean Reno? Or just mere similarity? Speaking of Jean Reno:
As you collect hidden ID files in the game world, the 3D models of the various characters become available to view in the Turntable section. You can spin them around and zoom in to examine them in more detail. There's been no official acknowledgement, but the face (and distinctive nose in particular) are too similar to think that there wasn't some inspiration drawn from there.
I got another mission question I failed the Diego quest.. It just says failed.. I cleared the drug den garage etc an I even threw a pulsar grenade at the robot.. How am I supposed to do that mission??
Thanks I just got Anna Kelso unlocked but a pity she got her clothes on.. AdamK if u are reading this maybe your dev can do something about the clothes.
Spin her around. Only thing he can do to her in this game... Unless he wants to do something with himself
Hmmm.... Anyway! As for Diego mission here we go: Spoiler Cobra orders you to get the pocket secretary from the gang leader, Diego. He says this pocket secretary must be close. Let's recap what he says - word for word: "It might be even in... you know... his pockets... heh heh". So, you need to find Diego & get his pocket secretary. Diego resides in DRUG LAB. You can get to Drug Lab from both Drug Den Entrance (main way to get in) & Garage (back-door). I hope this helps! Remember guys, you can always use your map from the pause menu to find stuff!
