Try the belltower shotgun, it's fast-firing with very tight spread (very good on medium range).

As for the rest, thanks a lot guys, I'm noting everything.

Regarding iPad mini screenshot - stay put for iPad 2 support update, should decrease ram usage further, now if you're on 99% ram used and take a screenshot, I imagine that screenshot pushing you off the edge :) (I'm not technical person though so don't hold me onto it).

As for invisibility, if you have it activated, you shouldn't be attacked by enemies. They can hear you though so may grow suspicious. Are you sure you have it equipped in quick slot and then used from it? (trivial question, pardon me).

Restoring purchase - I'll ask QA to recheck the restore button though. Fortunately you can 'rebuy' non-consumable things which will bring them back for free as previously pointed.

After checking what AdamK replied, this game reminds me of a very popular game back in late 1999 or early 2000 called thief..

I remembered vividly it was a big hoo haa when it first came out.. I played the game briefly..

The Thief and System Shock games, and the original Deus Ex (but not its sequel Invisible War) were all very big names back in the day, and still remain iconic examples of first-person PC games that weren't just mindless shooters. The System Shock series in particular lead directly to the Bioshock games, with a lot of the mechanics and atmosphere from the former finding their way into the latter.

Also, the original Deus Ex was heavily inspired by System Shock.
Quote from Wikipedia on System Shock:

"Certain game developers have acknowledged System Shock's influence on their products. With Deus Ex, developer Warren Spector revealed a desire to "build on the foundation laid by the Looking Glass guys in games like System Shock"

I absolutely loved the original Deus Ex and System Shock.
They were groundbreaking in their game design in combining first person shooters with role playing games.

Use cover, take your time, be efficient (headshots), use 'autotarget' setting (not tap to target) if you want some aid in aiming.
You can also equip the crossbow if you want (not many seem to know it, but you keep it during tutorial mission, equip it from the shop screen).
Try takedown if enemies get close. Or circle around obstacles and avoid them.

You can also use the pistol (attach the same silencer that you have on the rifle) and eliminate threats with careful head-shots.

Once you get accustomed to the controls, the biggest challenge you'll face will come from adapting your tactics and using a strategy that suits your playstyle - I often mix non-lethal and lethal, depending on my mood and enemies. There are many ways to handle every situation.

I'm sure you'll give them hell!

    WARNING
Don't bother buying until they fix the bug, you get deep into the game and it saves then when you load up again you are instantly dead buy being shot.
A massive Dealbreaker if you are buying.

    I drive trains, Locomotive Engineer.
    Pacific Northwest.
Two successful playthroughs never experienced the bug people are referring too. Brilliant game. Love the fully upgraded pistol/silencer approach. Eagerly waiting more content for deus ex the fall.

Actually dusted off my copy of human revolution and am going through that one again.

Thanks Adam. You're a lot more helpful than the average game dev.

You do realize that you can save manually, right?
Never, under any circumstances, rely only on autosave in any game on any platform is my advice.

Even if there's no autosave in a game, and you save manually, always use multiple save slots.

Things can very easily go wrong with a save.

If u save manually it just saves over the auto save. It needs multiple save slots....

Doing quest for the missing merchandise misplaced by Joey.. I am at entrance of night shades with a bodyguard and a bouncer.. I could take me down or pay 1000 but I think there should be a more elegant route to take but I can't seem to find it.. The back entrance seems gated by fence...

    Any tips?

He never said there was, he was just referencing games in general, and if there are multiple you should use them

in back alley of night shades there is a agenda with the code to open the door to the back night shades, but i think you need the hacking skill at level 2 to open one of the "cells" that have that agenda or maybe do some shooting so a policeman would open the door while you are hidden

While the suggestion above is good, an easier way is to
get the social enhancer aug, then intimidate him, he'll let you in for free. He'll threaten to call the cops if you try to without the aug.
    Hope that helps!
