Ok a read a coupl reviews along with the entire thread, it seems like I will be buying it quite soon. I just need to finish Bastion first. On a side note, is it possible to do complete stealth for the entire game? Is you go down the stealth path are there still scripted moments I nths game where you will have to go out guns-a-blazing?
Unfortunately you're on the mark. The mobile device world can really be a fickle mistress. I do really love my iPad 2 though. I think I wouldn't mind upgrading to a mini if the hardware received a generous upgrade. This year or next might see me buy the new generation of iOS tablet. It's true. If Sony releases a new console every year developers wouldn't develop for generations-forgotten systems. However to assume that developers are even remotely taking advantage of the hardware's capability after a year, or two, is insane. Sony devs clearly learned how to "squeeze" the hardware for bigger and better things as time went on. Sony didn't have too develop new hardware for almost a decade. Why? Most likely because their hardware was still capable of amazing things five years into it. It's kind of like directX. Every year new iterations of directX appear and it always baffles me that there are no developers that even utilize it. Why? Because they're still doing amazing things with previous incarnations. I don't like the idea of inhibiting progress in software or hardware by any means. But to artificially pump people up to believe they need new hardware every year is just silly. It's like re-inventing the wheel, or at least upgrading it, before people even made sense of the last one. I love progress in the gaming world, but I know the hardware is capable of bigger and better in devices that we're dropping as useless and old only a year or two later. That, is just silly. It's true, and it was a real clever move. Like I said I'm not asking devs to support a four-year-old device. The iPad 2 isn't ancient... Yet.
This week was an expensive week for great games. Deus Ex, Jesebel, Tiny Thief, Galaxy Hunter Freya, plus more. I can't believe I bought em all. I am loving this game the most tho. I still need to play tiny thief. Anybody else think Apple has a great platform I'm addicted to it lol
Can anyone give me a link to an official announcement that they are going to make this work on the ipad2?

I've read a few reviews saying its not working on iPhone 4s. Is this true? I want to buy it but I dont want to waste money on something that doesnt work for my only iDevice. Thanks in advance!
It says right in the app description that iPad 2 and iPhone 4 support is coming soon. So that info is right there.
Works fine for the most part on mine. There's been a few crashes, so remember to clear your cache before playing.
Yeah square you are stupid. I have paid for every rpg u have released on ios. Was gonna pick this up but not now. Im jailbroken but dont pirate apps. There so cheap to bother pirating. Just hope they dont do this to future releases
Ok I bought the game, so far it is awesome. However can someone confirm that you can only carry 1 specific item at a time, as opposed to two items? I could've sworn that I looted two beers however in my inventory it only shows one. Also does anybody know if NG+ is available?
I hope that also means optimization for other devices. iPhone 4S needs a reboot before playing or otherwise the game will crash randomly, and even after a reboot it still crashes. And also fix bugs. Subtitles don't work properly (sometimes they appear and disappear before the sentence is over).
I see there's a few bugs in the game.I am certainly gonna grab this game but not now have 2 other games right now.But when it will have an update and optimization issues fixed I'm gonna get it!
The subtitles when in the scene when you talk with the Kelso chick? It's because of that damn radio/TV voicing that overlaps with the recordings you find. The game gets confused, playing the TV subs and the recording subs one after the other, essentially cencelling each one out in succession.
This exactly in every room if you have to talk to anyone make sure to turn off the tv so you don't have that problem On my 4s I haven't have any crashes even without doing a reboot, the only thing is that the game doesn't last to much time running in the background
