I have $7.54 left on my account. Is it worth it to spend the $7.49 on this and miss out on all the other games this week?
If devs are actually designing games that literally are too demanding to run well on the Ipad2, then all you Ipad3 owners better be getting worried. It won't be long before the 3 will be done as well since anything that runs good on the ipad3 should be able to run on the ipad2 just as well (perhaps even better) given the lower number of pixels being pushed around...
http://www.google.com/#output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=define+review It's the first entry there on google. The "define" feature of google is quite handy when needing a quick definition. They pull the results from all the big sites like dictionary.com, merriam-webster, etc. So it's not like they are even making it up. As for the misspelling, sorry but that was my bad... I must have posted that from my iphone. The way they list definitions on google isn't as easy to just copy and paste as other sites. Maybe next time write a response to the actual content of the post rather than making assumptions and letting that be the sole case for your point of view. .... Back to Deus Ex: The Fall, I think I'm going to wait to see what the deal is with the episodic content. If I'm going to dedicate time to a game I want to know the full content is available to be devoured. I don't mind waiting. I have bought or gotten free so many games it's not like I'm hurting for this. My one purchase isn't going to be the straw that made people stop making games for iOS as it didn't stop devs from making games for other platforms when I waited for a sale or a gold/deluxe edition or whatever of a game. I think I fall into a separate market revenue stream for devs&pubs.
As a huge Deus Ex Human Revolution fan, I like it so far! Yes the animations are stiff and the voice acting can be bad but the rest is pretty good! I can't comment on the shooting part because i'm always doing a non lethal/not detected playthrough first. So far so good! Oh and that Soundtrack...
if he's actually from "Tehran-Iran" one could assume English isn't his primary language. come on, be nice
I have ipad 3 but when I press buy it says its incompatible with this ipad. It doesn't support ipad 3 either?
Now that the game caliber is reaching console levels we can consider the ipad a 'game console'. Therein lies the problem with the short lifespan of iOS devices. Look at an Xbox 360 or PS4. They cost the same as an ipad but when I invest in one of those consoles I am assured there will be no need to upgrade for several years....apple needs to look at that mentality as well. Now that we have retina in ipads(well hopefully the mini soon) and they blaze along at great speeds maybe we can hit a spec plateau allowing for a broader install base of fully compatible devices. Just my 2 cents of course.
Why this game isn't editors choice or featured in App Store is beyond me... It is iOS exclusive , "spinoff" to GOTY and popular franchise , has console quality and is not an another ported game, rather it was build from beginning primary for iOS and touch interface in mind. Heck they should feature Deus Ex in all banners so no one can miss it
Just saw this, before I buy can someone give me a quick review/details? Does the game play similar to the console one? Is the game freemium? Can you upgrade yourself like in the game? And how are the controls? I have loads of experiance with iOS FPS controls, so how would these compare. Would you, the person reading this, reccomend this game?
If you are expecting to go in guns blazing then you may feel let down. But if you focus more on the stealth elements of the game then you will find one of (if not the) best fps game on iOS
