Pretty sweet for the small amount I've played. Not certain if it is worth the 6.99$ price tag. But, whatev. I'm an fps junkie. Silky play on the iPhone 5 also.
iPad 2 is an old stupid device im so happy they skiped it i have both iPhone 5 and 3GS so they must release it for my old 3GS? answer is NO lets skip old devices to get better geraphical games
Wow. Just to put this in some vague perspective, the iPad 2 was released a little over 2 years ago. This isn't ancient hardware, it's the same as the iPad mini (minus the Bluetooth chip that was previously mentioned in this thread). To expect games to continue to support it is not a stretch. The ps3 was released just over 7 years ago (nov 2006) and the Last of Us is incredible (2013). Game companies are still supporting that hardware. The "geraphics" are only limited by how far devs are willing to push the hardware. I'm not comparing apples to oranges, I'm comparing apples to smaller apples. The mobile hardware game is quick moving at the moment, true, but the iPad 2 is still both powerful and relevant. To support it is not like porting Borderlands 2 to a Commodore 64 (although I'd totally play that, lol). If that all was said in sarcasm however, then ignore me... It's late, and I didn't pick up on it.
I am playing on ipod touch 5th gen and I have NO problems at all.Playing very smooth like iphone 5 version.
i know i know but look this game is still selling maniac,No.35 at the US appstore only after 3-4 hours from release damn it im even thinking maybe we can see the game on other consoles soon just like Resident Evil: Revelations it was first on small screen of 3DS then released for other platforms
I bought some credits, I upgraded plasma gun and buyed some devices for automatically hack, and I can say that if you upgrade those things, the first episode takes much less. Is far from the depth of XCOM, but is also three times cheaper, at least the game itself, with no purchased credits. I didn't thought that if I do some upgrades, the game will be so short and easy to play. My mistake. Is the first and last time I do that.
Sorry, just don't buy this. If Sony had released the PS4 a year ago, developers wouldn't be making sure that all titles they developed for it also worked on the PS3. The only reason they still develop games for the PS3 now is because it's the very latest version of the Playstation. In the case of IOS, I think there should be SOME backward compatibility but to expect developers to ensure they have their titles run several generations back is just unreasonable. I think one gen back is expected, two at the most. Beyond that, you need to face that you're using relatively dated technology and really need to catch up. The market of CurrentGen-2 isn't large enough compared to the CurrentGen + CurrentGen-1 to make it viable to put that extra time and effort into the product in my opinion.
Don't forget that the iPad 2, for all intents and purposes is really only one generation back, since the release of "3" was a travesty, and the "2" actually outperforms it in a number of scenarios. EDIT: In fact, Apple were crafty enough to actually get people to sell their iPad 3s, and "upgrade" back again to iPad 2s with smaller screens. Genius really.
