Late to the party, just picked up in the sale. Looking forward to playing after reading so many good things.
This game is so relaxing. I play it sometimes before I go to sleep. I just wish that they could change the sound of when the ball rises out of the hole. The sound is the oppisite of relaxing.
That's still pretty good. I was feeling all proud to be nearing 10000 when I checked the developer's Twitter and saw that somebody has passed the 15000 hole mark. That's dedication.
man - your ratio is still good, guise. I'm back on this as of now. I want that blue - it's beautiful.
one of the best games ever for sure. so relaxing, simple, elegant, beatiful. playing this every fkng day.
Thanks, still averaging less than 3 shots per hole. I think the colors start changing slowly and subtly after Hole 2000, where the difficulty seriously ramps up. So it's a big (but worthwhile) commitment. Right on!

Thank you kindly! Are you still golfing the desert? I went 3 or 4 months without playing and suddenly got the itch again. I love that it's a game you can always come back to, with no rules or strategies to remember. Mobile gaming distilled to its core.
A few holes a week. I keep getting distracted and playing other things that are ultimately more transitory. But then this is transitory too as after 1000 holes it doesn't matter as it doesn't influence the game centre score. But then that's the point as Game Centre scores don't matter anyway. And anyway this game is even more transient/transitory than most other games as it's golf, which is pointless anyway. But that's the point. And it's in a Desert. I'm going back and staying back tomorrow. No more transience.
Exactly. Desert Golfing, like all games and really all human endeavors and our existence in the universe, is ultimately transient and pointless. But it can still be meaningful and enjoyable if we find meaning and joy in the experience. This is existential mobile gaming that is both ephemeral and eternal. Or it's just an absurd golf game set in an endless desert. Either way, it's awesome.
