It looks really good, varied environments will be a big plus. Did you say you were thinking about implementing a fog of war or line of sight? I think line of sight would definitely add to the tension, with maybe directional sounds giving you a small hint with what you'll be facing. How many different enemy types will the game start with?

Yes, we are working on the Fog of war. Its going to darken the corridors out of sight from the soldiers, as well as darken the bugs As for enemy type its all melee so they're all pretty much the same right now. We are working on it though Thank you, we will have more beta keys soon

Loving the constant updates! Don't burn yourself out, go outside, get a Belgian beer, or run up a hill! Or all three! Impressive so far, starting small always works so much better, you can always update, release dlc's, or sequels to improve the formula.

Moderately happy with the results... A huge pain to do! I don't know what it was but all those straight lines and such. I ended up using a mouse and photoshop (compared to a cintiq and mudbox) Well its done...
Didnt get much sleep... Oh well. Heres what ive been working on Hopefully Ill get the small soldier animating when the Medium soldier is being done. Just get all the animations done in one go. Thanks everyone for seeing!

They are all hand crafted! Theres a lot of testing for each level. It wouldnt work if they were procedural. They would either be too easy or too hard, either way built wrong. Dont worry, Im making lots of levels! Each one goes through several stages, from design to testing. Testing, over and over. Once the level plays right the art is added, here is one of the levels
Ive decided to do something different for the Heavy soldier. Instead of building off the mesh, using the same animations and such, Im going to make them at the same time as the other soldiers. But each will have different bones and animations. This will allow a wider range of freedom with the model. Im just fleshing out the mesh right now, but im pretty tired so I may not get much more done today. Also, Im going to refer everyone to our IndieDB page. http://www.slidedb.com/games/derelict-ios
