Game seemed neat but holy crap the bugs and controls made the whole thing a chore. Pushing blocks sometimes removes your ability to jump, and sometimes when you have no way to kill yourself to reset it you're just permanently stuck until you start over from the beginning. Randomly decides whether you deserve your second jump or not, resulting in unnecessary deaths because the jump button just didn't work. Made it to the stage after level 4. Eventually got frustrated fighting the bugs and gave up.
I haven't encountered the control bug as others say. But the button should definitely be bigger than it is. I die a lot by just not hitting the button in key moments because my finger drifted towards the right of the screen. Otherwise, man this game is awesome. I died so many times picking up coins. lol After playing for hours, I am now at level 4. Need a break and have to sleep. I hope this game gets featured tomorrow. Would definitely deserve it.
I haven't seen that from the Limbo system but I have heard it twice now, I will take a look at it and try with different devices. What device are you on?
Yeah I can only add to what others are saying, the game itself is great but ion the iPad I’m finding the controls really tricky, they desperately need a resize/move option....
iPhone 7+ running latest iOS version. I don't think the controls are the issue, there were specific places the controls would consistently break down. Stage 3 there's a platform area where you could double jump the first platform but the second would always have the double jump fail.
I haven’t played much yet but it’s a very well made game so far. Highly recommend it, and it’s free so there is no reason to not give it a try.
hmm maybe the platform was moving, momentum makes it seem that the jump didnt work? i don't know yet. I'll let you know what comes out when i test this on an iPhone 7 plus. Thank you for the feedback!
I'm normally great at platformers but this one i found frustrating. Must be something easy or basic but near the end of level 1 (or might be 2) i just die instantly. Theres some writing i can see (only half) but i played it a few more times jumping around trying to get past this annoying death but nope keeps happening. Its like some enemy just appears and kills me instantly What am i doing wrong ? Finding it really frustrating
Are you collecting coins? That might be it. If not, I can't really figure out what's causing it. What else do you see, what level is it?
It’s the first level I’m stuck on ! I go to get the 3 coins then I seem to die instantly. Can’t get past that point Must be something easy but getting frustrated !
Ha ha thanks. My fault for being stupid !!! Was obviously playing with the sound off ! Play a lot of games late at night but didn’t bother with my headphones recently. I will now !!
Smart, original and with a great surreal atmosphere. I second the slide option in controls but still one of the best games to hit the App Store since the beginning !
