I was looking the other day to install the previous chapter of Dere Exe but couldn’t find it in the store (iOS). What happened to it? Also, that time is flying. Hope there will be some promo codes? Or is it all pre-ordering to get it as fast as it gets?

The prequel of this game, Dere Exe, isn't up on the App Store anymore but we might put it back. Especially if the demand is very high after DERE EVIL EXE is launched worldwide on July 4. Thank you for asking about it. As for the promo codes, we won't be giving away those. We want the world to play it simultaneously on July 4. And we're afraid spoilers might get out. Hahaha. So pre-ordering now is everyone's chance to play this at the earliest possible time:
Uploading to Steam is actually very primitive and complicated. I thought I was just going to be as easy as the App Store or something but a cmd window, really? I got a ton of bugs too But the feeling I got after typing in commands to compile and upload the game: Don't forget, this game is FREE ON THE APP STORE ON JULY 4! Can't wait for you guys to play it. I really look forward to playing this game, I absolutely loved playing Dare.exe and think this Developer has such unique yet familiar designs that seems to get me engaged in play

What games/movies/stories where your inspiration for making Dere? Also, What software do you use to make these promo vids?
I couldn't pinpoint exactly which, because there are a ton of influences. But I'd say I was inspired by the following: Commander Keen 3.5: Keen's Dreams Dr. Chaos Captain Comic Prince of Persia (the game, not the movie) Fight Club Wrestlemania 13 Bret Hart vs Stone Cold (Not Kidding) Saw 2 (The twist, not the traps) Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog Source Code (Film starring Jake G.) Interstellar As for movie making software. It depends. Editing could either be done through Movie Maker (if lacking time) or Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Sometimes iMovie. Really depends on the time, the device I'm using at the moment, and what kind of video I'm going to make. For example, that music video I uploaded? PowerPoint.
I'm counting the Days!!! Dere Exe was so much fun I can only imagine how awesome this will be. Keep em coming!

Hey, just wondered if this game will have black bars on the sides for iPhone X users? Or is it made with iPhone X in mind? I can imagine that playing it on the longer screen this could be a tremendous experience.
Good question! DERE EVIL EXE will have no black bars because we optimized this game for your iPhone X! It will fit the full frame of the extra-long notch-adorned OLED display. Really don't like black bars other games have. It's fine, but I want the best for my new phone. It actually is an advantage to play DERE EVIL EXE on iPhone X because the extra real estate give you a wider view of the levels. So yes, it looks extra slick on an iPhone X
