Some very very early impressions: - Some cut-off text on the full-screen cutscenes. - Great artwork and sprites. Looks ok on iPad3, but definitely not Retina. Doesn't fill the screen either. - English is surprisingly good for this type of port. The writing is well done. - 4-way movement - Framerate seems kinda low, making movement a little jerky. - Menu's are pretty ugly - Not a lot of settings (framerate and controls adjust would've been nice) - Music is clear, but loops are a but short and don't always cycle smoothly. These are pretty minor things though. Overall the game is quite good.
It shouldn't be allowed. It's a highly offensive slur when used in that sense. And the title of this app is a pathetic attention grab. I'll avoid on principle alone.
:S I need help! x.x I just bought the game. On opening, the default language is, I suppose, Korean. I am sure I buy the USA App. Some of you could tell me the path to change the language? :C
Tap the circled button twice and tap the word in the middle (supposed to be languages) then you can change the language.
Thank you for the impressions. I'll put it on my wish list waiting for a price drop maybe, or buy it at full price, but only after I finish Aurum Blade, I don't think any ARPG can get better than that lol.
um....i can't save this game? pressed save in menu and it just say auto saving and when i tap it again the window disappeared. than i clicked back to the title screen but the game couldn't load.
In the first few minutes of the game (that is the tutorial) and when you are fighting, the floppy disc icon will be gray and that means you cannot save at that time.
I don't know of this other Demonsoul others are speaking of, but this game looks great. I got a promo code and I will take a look at the game tomorrow.
To much RPG games in AppStore but not the real RPG game except like FF Series,Lunar Silver Star and etc....so I skip this game....
This is an ACTION RPG. Like Zenonia, like Aurum Blade, Crimson Heart, Heroes in Time. They are 'real RPGs' - at least the ones I mentioned because I haven't played this one but Sanuku said it's a good ARPG. Your examples, turn-based RPGs, are part of a different style, but they aren't more 'real' than the action ones.
While I normally shy away from ARPGs, Wild Frontier for iOS (and to a lesser extent, the Zenonia series) has proven that perhaps I should not always do so. Canna say quite what, but something about this title appeals to me, though perhaps not enough to purchase, without some further reports. Anything like Wild Frontier, this one?
that isnt an older device... rofl. but yes it works fine on my itouch 4 ios6. no idea why you're still at ios5
