Wow ... That is some awesome team synergy. I'm really impressed. I think you're right that the ability is overpowered. I'll take your suggestion into consideration.
I am sorry if this has been answered previously (so many pages) but will this be a mobile exclusive game. I am more than happy if it is as my iPad Pro loves Demons Rise. But just curious if you are considering your new game as a pc game too.
Small issue on iPhone SE - the screen resolution is such at the end of battles that I cannot select the option to go back to town.
Both the next game and Demon'Rise will be launched on pc and mac. I just want to polish a few minor things before I port it.
Oh it's fine! Just a little small, so I have to be careful not to click the wrong hex. Would probably be even better on an iPad.
Hey Dev, you ever consider putting an exclusive playable character for the different versions of the game? I'm such a huge fan of your game, i will buy it regardless
Also quick update ... I'm doing the patrol levels of the next game. Going pretty quickly. I've done 13 of the planned 40 patrol battles so far.
Hey guys, I'm thinking of adding an expansion pack to this game that would feature around 20 more quest levels, 20 or so new patrol levels, some new mercenaries, objective levels and lots of new enemies. It would continue the story with the dwarves delving further into the lower levels of the ruins. However, the game doesn't make much money so it wouldn't make sense to do this as a free update. Would you guys be okay with this expansion as something unlocked with an in-app purchase? So when you get to the last level, you are presented with an option to purchase the expansion levels? Still not sure if it would really make sense financially but I'm playing through the last quest at the moment and I'm really enjoying the higher difficulty levels with the high level characters. It seems it would be fun to continue with another few levels.
Agreed ... though actually the game is pretty challenging now with the new enemies. They appear on quest 4 and 5 and are genuinely tough. I think I need to go back and add them into quest 6 a little bit too as the difficult curve actually drops slightly from 5 to 6, which isn't right.
thanks guys ... I'll start to plan out the expansion pack while I work on the new game as well. I'm thinking of three possible directions: 1 - A conflict with a human army that is trying to take the ruins from the weakened dwarves. This would be a series of battles on the surface with an eventual push into the ruins. Ambushes in forests, holding small villages against larger forces, using dwarven artillery and defenses against a numerically larger force. 2 - The dwarves push into the deeper levels of the ruined city where they face new enemies, the powerful Deep Elves. 3 - The dwarves try to reclaim the old mines to get the industry back up and running. Here they face a powerful Orc tribe that worship a slumbering dragon. Let me know which direction you think the expansion should go.
Whichever you choose, it seems different environments to fight in would make the expansion feel like something really new. The 1st of your ideas (villages and forests) seems the most different to the base game, but the 2nd (deeper darker caves) and 3rd (industrial and orcy) could work too.
