I'm sorry, WaveLight, but the 1.4 patch seems to have confused my ranged characters just a tad. My Archer has a 45% hit chance on targets in the open, three units away, my Illusionist suddenly has access to all her spells but one at level 4 (an intentional change in her progression pattern?), and most notably, my Ranger cannot attack at all. (I also noticed that my Dark Elf Assassin went from 8 to 4 attacks. Was there a major nerf to the number of melee attacks granted by items?) EDIT: the Ranger's sudden pacifism and the Archer's attack chance resolved themselves after a few patrol runs. But the issues were very real and reproducible while they lasted So remains only the question of the Illusionist's sudden aptitude for, well, illusion. Is she supposed to have access to five of her six spells at level 4? (She certainly did not before the patch.) I've also noticed that both me and enemies can sometimes use targeted spells through walls. But perhaps this is a known issue?
The number of spell a character can cast DEPEND ON HER AP not level. I guess the update has changed most of the gears on your illusionist to +AP gears hence her sudden proficiency in illusion
Same here. Now there is a real problem with this latest patch. You are unable to create a new party with your own characters. The game crashes when it reaches 90%. You can make a new party with one of the four premade teams and you can load any of your old save games, but it crashes every time you try to make a new team using the available 26 characters. EDIT:- It may have been an iOS problem. I just installed iOS 9.0.1 and all seems good so far.
By "number of spells", are you talking about the spells to which the character has access (as opposed how many spells she can cast per turn, and how many times she can cast a particular spell per battle)? If so, yep, that would explain it.
The game keeps crashing repeatly now (at the start of the mission, during the mission...). I then upgrade to new iOS version and succeeded to achieve a first quest. The second quest crashed midgame.
Congrats on the 666 posts. I suggest waiting for the devs to reply to us later in the date. Currently there are two problems: 1- Frequent crashes 2- Another 1.4 update from Apple on 24/09 kinda ruin the game further.
I just ran into a issue right at the start of the game at the first quest with the first pre made team. I activated the Tornado ability of one of the characters (forget the name) and was unable to switch to another character or end the turn. Could have been missing something that is obvious to the developer or others but I was pressing buttons for a couple of minutes until I said screw it and decided to post in this thread about the issue.
Not sure if it's related but after I updated to iOS 9.0.1 every app I had purchased or updated since upgrading to iOS 9 had to "update" again while still showing the original update date in the description. It was weird but I didn't know what to do about it so I let it go.
Characters won't move I recently downloaded for iPad Air 2, iOS 9. When it is my turn, and a character is highlighted, I cannot get the character to move or fire ranged weapon even though the available targets are highlighted. Sometimes (randomly) if I use a character's skill, afterwards he/she is able to move. Sometimes I have to end turn 3-4 times before I can move one or two of my characters.
Hey guys ... sorry for the issues in the latest patch. I'll take a look at them this weekend. I got hit with a really bad flu and ear infection yesterday and it's still hitting me really hard. Can't do much on it today, I'm afraid. As soon as I'm well, I'll look at each point and fix it up.
No problem. Despite some of the issues you made a really cool RPG that I can tell you put a bunch of effort into. Take your time getting well.
I got hit with the flu as well. It's a bad one going around and can easily take a week to start feeling better. All the best for a speedy recovery.

I am stuck in the quest where there are a horde of undead in a room filled with statues and a "pond" in the middle. It's during week 3. Every time I kill the skeleton ravager in the upper right corner, the game crashes. PS: Wish you a good recovery.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into that. I'll try and figure out what is going on there. Presumably something with that character's death effect or death animation has gotten messed up. Will fix asap.
This doesn't sound like an issue I'm familiar with ... can you explain exactly what you did? Did you click on the tornado skill and then click somewhere in a straight line from the caster to the target? And did it then cast the tornado and then no longer respond to user input? Has that happened again when trying that ability or was it a once off event?
Yeah, sorry about that ... it was a silly mistake on my end. I was building new levels for the expansion and to do that, I have to load new characters into a certain file that is loaded into RAM. I should have emptied that file before building the update version but I forgot to do so. As such, the game has a lot of stuff loaded into RAM unnecessarily. I will be submitting a fix to Apple tomorrow ... would have done sooner, but was just sick for the past few days.
This sounds like a RAM issue caused by the mistake I made in this version (1.4). The level selection screen with all 26 characters is really RAM intensive and having a bunch of extra characters loaded in is likely causing the crash. Glad iOS 9 allows for a little more RAM to the game ... good to know. I'll have the fix out asap.
