Hi, The game runs well on an iPad air 1 but not with the extra graphic options. However, it still looks good. There isn't really the option to customize a new character other than give him a different name. Instead, the character develops differently as he or she gets new equipment and levels up. The emphasis is more on team building as there are a lot of creative synergies you can have with different characters.
New player here # Any suggestions about team building? I find myself without a light to guide my choices
Most combos work well and you can always switch team members as you go along. I'd start with: Hunters and shaman for some good healing. Werebear for staying power Vampire for a fun fighter with mage powers. Demon knight for a good, flexible fighter that can also attack at range. Void walker for a good wizard. He can do a lot of damage with his spells later in the game and has some really good buff spells. But whichever team you build, keep switching out team members yo try different combos.
Hi Wavelightgames, I am loving your game! Could you consider having an "Are you sure you want to quite message " come up after selecting the item you are awarded when killing all the enemies. I keep dragging the item over to my inventory slot. But ,I forget to click again to set it in place. So ,I lose the item when I exit ,because it was over my inventory but not set in the slot. I have lost so many items this way. Thanks
It would be easier for the player to just not have the item "sticky" when you tap it. I play loads of games and usually you have to "hold tap" to move items around or equip. Even after playing both Demons Rise games for well over 50 hours I still find the current inventory system clumsy.
Yes .... Something to fix that is on my list. I like stubbieoz' suggestion of just removing the sticking of the item on a click and force an actual drag. Will try it out.
Awesome Game with very nice characters Smooth running only too big game size for users who are running 16GB devices
Yeah, those 16GB devices are not meant for playing games that come in at 1-2gig. As games get more advanced so too do the requirements. Heck even my 128GB iPad is full and I have to keep deleting games to make space for new ones. #
Wave Light Games, Could you please add iCloud support. I only have a 16 gig iPad mini and I would hate to start this game over if I need to take it off temporarily? Thank You
At least for a situation like this it would be good if the dev could make the save files show up in the Documents folder by using Apples File Sharing protocol. At least then you could manually copy the save file onto your pc and then put the file back when the game is reinstalled again.
The game already has icloud support. When you play with internet access, it silently saves your data to icloud. So when you start your new device, it should load your icloud data to that device automatically.
That's odd but it certainly does work. Unless a recent OS update has broken it. I'll test it on my end and let you know.
Looks like the feature has stopped working. Sorry about that. I'm looking at an alternate solution to synch the playerprefs to a new cloud solution.
Just submitted a huge update to Apple. Hopefully should be available early next week. Here's the change log: - New playable character - Play as the Hungaran Cataphract, a noble warrior able to unleash a storm of arrows and use the souls of her victims to empower her blade. - New pathfinding engine now allows for smooth animations and pathfinding for all characters. - Lighting and special effects improved. - New colour grading and bloom added in options that makes graphics more realistic on newer devices. - Difficulty reduced on initial campaign levels. - Several UI improvements. - Significant performance improvement. - Audio bug that would cause music to not play on some levels has been fixed. - Many minor bug fixes. - New game icon. - Fixed iCloud synchronization issues introduced in previous patch. Here's a picture of the new character. The biggest change is the new pathfinding. It now makes characters move smoothly across the board and around obstacles and other characters rather than the clunky method currently. Huge improvement.
