Hey Jayg2015, It's great to hear you enjoyed this demo.
We're currently adding a leaderboard to add a level of competition to the game.

Are there other features that come to mind that you'd like to see?

Or did you like it because the game is stripped down to the core (buy and sell stocks, beat your high score)?

Hi everyone,

We just updated the "Alpha Trader" web game with the last features needed for the official release on iphone/android:

- Leaderboard,
- Social platform sharing.

We'd love it if you gave it a try to see how the game feels,
And share with us any barriers you had to enjoying the game; not knowing what to do, or how to do something for example.

Do you like this newer version?

A friend (James) just set the high score on the leaderboard.
It's persistent for now, but by launch, it will be a daily leaderbord, so *everyday* will be a new opportunity to be the alpha dog!

In January 2016, we will make the submission to apple and android, so you'll be able to play on your mobile device in the coming weeks.

Major changes:

  Addition of music and sound effects
  Animated feedback for all button interactions and call to actions

Hey Jayg2015, ball park estimate late January.
We're really close; all features are complete.

This week I'll mix the sound a bit -- right now the levels are all over the place -- and we need to stress test the leaderboard a bit more.

Then we'll make the submission, once it's in apple's hands it can take up to two weeks.

We'll be sure to update you through email as well as in this thread. No chance you'll miss the launch
