That’s the famous engine behind point and click classics like Loom and the original Monkey Island.

So many good memories! I Still own hard copies of many of these. Right now I’m trying some Peggle. I’ve been craving to play it on iOS again for a while.

I’m playing Batman the original platform game on the gameboy. Keep saving and loading as I wanna try and complete it. It’s a tough game !

That's the only way I was able to clear the final stage in U.N. Squadron several years ago. Without save states, I can only get past previous levels, even on easy difficulty. I don't know how sebdad was capable of beating it on the SNES when I was a kid, with no way to cheat (he uses Greg Gates, though, a pilot whose recovery rate is faster than the other two, whereas I've been playin with Shin Kazama).

If any of you likes shoot-em-up games, do give that game a try; it's too good with the pilots, different aircraft and subweapons systems. Plus the soundtrack and visual style are amazing. Still happy for having it on my phone without need of alternate methods.

A friend of mine tried Secret of Mana and there is a problem with text.
I know SoM works @512x224 screen resolution and I think that causes the problem, but I don't know if Delta can fix it.
Actually I have never emulated SoM even on PC...

I use Delta on my iPhone from AltStore (hello Europe) and I noticed a bug (?).
When I use Delta and once left, if I go to AirPlay to launch my music on my HomePod for example, my iPhone appears twice in AirPlay and if I click on the second it disappears to let only my real iPhone appear. On the other hand, as soon as I start a game on Delta again, the duplication will reappear.
I don't know if you have the same bug via Delta (AppStore) or the AltStore version?

Which 8Bitdo controller does everyone recommend? I don’t want the tiny one and I’m keeping in mind that MAME and Providence are on the way.

I have fond memories of the original Batman on Game Boy. I finished it then, but I don’t know if I’d have enough reflexes to achieve it now :p

Reflexes, yes, but also time and patience. When you are a kid, doing the same stage over and over again is better than whatever else you were supposed to do (chores, homework, etc). As an adult you don’t really have that luxury.

that’s the only bad thing about emulation. You don’t have to have patience anymore like square zero said. With so many gameboy games to play and other systems I can’t give one game weeks of gameplay ! Anyway activated the game genie cheat which worked so I’m tempted to see what the end of the games like as I’ve never done that.
So that’s fun. Got up to world 4-1 with save states and reloading but now I’m infinite energy !

gonna do this for a few games so I can see later levels or endings of games I’ve never finished. Which is a lot !

Nothing Concrete but I’m sure it will happen. If anything the Delta dev will probably bring MAME4ios.

I never had a ZX81 but loved the Sinclair Spectrum. Got lots of games for Spectaculator before they had to shut down being able to add your own games. Hopefully that's gonna change soon

But the third screenshot on that link, no way is that a ZX81 game looks more like a speccy one ?

The ZX81 was my first computer (with a 16k
module and a tape deck for a drive). Love the chance to relive some of those memories :).
