And a fingerprint magnet. Also, you can get a Wacom Bamboo cheaper than that. Smaller, true, but functional. I wouldn't mind something touch-based, whether tablet or screen, if only for drawing event curves in my DAW, but it's not a high priority right now.
yeah i have a watcom fun pad. 2009 model. i love it. i also bought one of these for every computer i own because the mouse is wireless but runs of magnets from the pad it self. its the best wireless mouse iv tried and no need for batteries, and the pen sure is nice im thinking one of these for a jukebox interface would rock. chris.
hi. well as iv mention before im getting into building full size arcade cabs.. bunch of friends and family want them.. so ill be busy this year.. which is good take my mind off my health issues. any rate so i look at ebay for what arcade stuff. get a feel for what things are worth, etc etc.. like we do when we get in any hobby.. research.. lots of reading.. so far iv been trying to figure what this monitor would be good for in such a environment.. im thinking jukeboxes... but i think i found the best use for this.. yes, gambling.. poker machines.. did not realize how popular these games are.. guess thats why mame added them.. any rate.. replace the flat screen monitor they used in this poker cab.. with one of these touch units and you have a totally kick butt environment for virtual poker i think. im assuming the little LCD panels are touch screen for your hand.. so may as go all out i think.. http://cgi.ebay.com/Heads-Up-Poker-Bocce-ball-Video-Cocktail-Arcade-Game-/290517005378?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a429b442
I hate Touch screen like this :\ It makes my arm ache, using one round my mates house and you get fed up of it in 5 mins. I much prefer it on a small device I can hold in my hand, it makes it much more comfortable. Why not just get a normal dell IPS 30inch and use a mouse which is much nicer to use and much more precise and is a better controller for games.
