I’ve spent only 30 mins or so on the game, so these are definitely early “imps.” With that said, this is a big, big surprise. The worst things I can say about it are that the English translation is spotty, and it’s not a visual treat — the two locations i’ve visited so far are kind of samey. Otherwise, though, it’s all good so far. First, this really feels like a premium game with no multiple currency shennanigans or any IAPs that I can find. There’s a real story here, which manages to generate some pathos even early on. Both the combat and crafting systems have depth to them, but they are also explained clearly on the tutorial and a well designed in-game guide. There’s a day and night cycle that adds urgency and variety to the gameplay. Finally, the game seems to have a real objective (which deals with my biggest issue with survival sims). Color me impressed, at least for now. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #7 nyanpass, Jan 4, 2019 Last edited: Jan 4, 2019 Delivery from the Pain (by DigiPotato Studio) Delivery from the Pain is a survival-themed experience game. Whether you can really find the way to escape? 《Delivery From The Pain》 is a strategic survival game with fantastic storyline. In this game, you are not Alice in Resident Evil, you are just a normal survivor in a horrible world with zombies. During your adventure; 1. You have to face different kinds of zombies, keep calm and watch them carefully to figure out their weak point, then deal with them in a smart way based on your situation. 2. You will meet other survivors; your choices will decide what will happen and what kind of ending you will have. 3. You’d better make a good study plan, so that you can build a safer shelter, develop powerful weapons, cook more delicious food. Three Tips for You 1.Avoid eating bad food, or you will die faster. 2.Keep in mind that you are not hero in front of zombies, just run away when you should. 3.Try to sleep on a more comfortable bed. * Features Special doomsday experience with interesting hidden game settings Multiple endings with full of mysteries and surprises, which one is the truth? I thought I was safe after seeing that and turned the game off but when I reloaded later it was about an hour and 15 minutes or so prior to when it autosaved and I turned it off, so I was super disappointed about that and I’d suggest to the developer if they’re here to add a manual save option so this doesn’t happen. I played for a few hours after that and I double checked for the save icon but I haven’t started it up yet I’m afraid of losing all that time lol. Also I noticed everything from cloth, to rubber, wood, to steel stacks together when you scavenge and yet food doesn’t. I’m looting a store and the dang meats and vegetables each take up their own spot like if I pick up 3 potatoes then that’s 3 spots. Perhaps you can change this as well. It’d be nice if it stacked. This game is actually kinda difficult I’m having a hell of a time getting rested and keeping his mood up, I get you have to make better beds to get more rested but come on, I slept for 12 hours because of how low the meter was and it barely hit half way. And the only thing I’ve seen besides rare food items and alcohol that improve mood (but makes you sleepy) is the radio which takes an hour for a tiny tick to the meter. I’ll try to press on but it’s almost not worth it if it doesn’t let up some. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #9 nyanpass, Jan 5, 2019 Recommend for those who like survival games. No freemium energy and No real-time timers. The controls are a little awkward, but the rest are smooth. I am interested, is the crafting taking hours/days like f2p survival sims? Or is it Crashlands like? Also and most important, what is this countdown that i see in the picture? are stages timed and then game over? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #11 squarezero, Jan 5, 2019 Time is an important mechanic in the game and all actions move the clock forward, but there is no actual waiting. Learning a new craft and building things can take in-game minutes or hours; which will in turn make you hungrier, more tired, sicker (if you are infected and don’t take medicine) and darken your mood (which makes recovery slower). You can recover by sleeping, sitting by the fire, eating, etc. Most important, staying out at night is very dangerous, so you have to watch the clock when you go out scavenging. The game recommends that you spend nighttime learning new skills, crafting, and resting, then go out for more resources in daytime. To be clear, there is no real-world waiting on any of this, and no currency for accelerating time. ramzarules likes this. ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #12 ramzarules, Jan 5, 2019 thanks for the reply.
