    How do you do it?

I've had to delete a game from my phone one time and reinstalled it after from Itunes but the saves were gone, even though I had synced the night before...

How do you make sure the game saves are there and can be synced back into the phone?

I might need to do a restore and last time I did that, most if not all of the apps/games had lost their info...

    Thanks!

Not possible. iTunes will overwrite the backup with the old one, removing the save data of the apps you've removed.

games' save data are always deleted when you delete the app.

So anytime I delete an app/game directly from my phone it will delete any data/game saves?

Even though it is still in my itunes?

Wow that is lame!!!! Thank God at least the new OS allows for more than 11 pages of apps...but still, if I ever need to restore my iphone, all my saves are gone?!?!?!? WTH!!!

    Perv, why do you care?
Is it adding more pages. I thought it was adding folders.

well with the folders you can have more than 11 pages' worth I guess

and greygoose if you ever need to restore your phone, you can restore it from a backup after it's done being reset to

    Factory Settings

Thats true but from what I understand, restoring from a backup wont help if the phone had issues with that same backup on it previously, thats why theyve told me to restore as a new phone with the last phone i had which kinda makes sense if u think about it i guess...

What if you use iTunes to remove the app from your iPhone instead? Does this keep the game save that was backed up during the syncs?

You can use AppBackup to backup files of an app.
    Download + install from Cydia.
