zing! yeah, no love from TA so far. maybe it was the way i fumbled the launch. maybe it is because i'm not from ______ publisher. maybe they avoid most one-man dev teams. maybe the game is just not good enough. The most obvious answer is usually the right one?

patreon i am supporting TA via patreon...i just chose the anonymous option seeing some pretty minimalistic falling object games releasing this week...and getting covered by TA. yay for them! I'm just checking every week to see how long it takes for ketchapp or someone else to copy Deflecto and get featured.
Deflecto clearance sale not. good. I can't GIVE this game away! there was a little bump in downloads for about 4-5 days after it went free...mostly in Japan, interestingly. Now, it's back to almost flat like it was when it was paid. Thinking about removing ads and iap and going paid again. If anything for a lack of knowing what else to do. TA and slidetoplay are clearly not interested in covering it. Deflecto is dead. Not sure what my motivation is, but I'm already working on my next game. Hopefully this one takes 1/4 of the time it took to make Deflecto. It's a totally different mechanic, maybe it will be better-received.

ad revenue ad revenue is really, really low. I mean, I could fill my car up on it once since launch (honda civic). I use iAds and google admob interstitials. The google ads made all the revenue even though they're only shown every fourth level played. iAds make less than the change I could find on the ground in an hour. maybe i should just invest in a metal detector. or use interstitials on every level. but that's super annoying. See, I do care about user experience nah, you're not being nosey...i wish i would've known how low it would actually be before I went that way. nobody purchased the iaps
trick question! I admit it's both but the $ is only so I can keep making games...to the chagrin of TA
i suggest getting off these forums and develop that next game don't you want to be able to fill up your car more than once a month?
