Iap descriptions Thank you, this is great food for thought! No offense taken whatsoever! The iap descriptions you mentioned...I don't see any place for those in itunesconnect...do you know where/how they would be added? Sounds like a great idea, maybe I just missed it.
I am so sorry. I don't know how to add that. Maybe you could ask in one of the developer forums? In the App Store, when someone goes to look at the app, at the bottom of the app information, is a menu. ( on my iPad. It might be a bit different using a computer) One of them states 'version history,' another is 'developers website.' I can't remember the other one. In this menu area, is where dev's can choose to disclose what the iap's are for. It'll state 'in- app purchases.' The potential buyer taps the selection, and it will show what the iap(s) are for ( the name or title of it) and how much they are. There would not be an additional explanation there though. So... You would still, if you wanted to, put the explanation in your description. Take a look around the app, store at some of the apps that have iap's. You might be able to see what I am referring to. Sorry I don't know more then that.
Deflecto 1.3.1 update More screenshots and videos added to the App Store listing some small bug fixes
badass, so brooklyn not sure how I missed this before...this is so up my alley# I was raised on 80s arcade games and this reminds me of that somehow but with a touch twist would LOVE a promo code if you have some left. If it's good I'll shout it from the mountaintops Not crazy about the pricing model, but if it's fun enough it's worth a few bucks to me. I understand they can't all be free...
Deflecto, that INSTAWANT! i watched your trailer. cool style. simple and frantic, good sounds... may I pretty please have a promo code?
promo codes provided Thanks so much for the kind words about Deflecto. Promo codes provided via private messages. Enjoy and let me know what you think about the game! Brian zxy
raw, simple, exciting this game is stripped down to its core. But the gameplay and controls are a perfect fit for mobile touchscreens. Combines retro feel and new tech. Combines brick breaker and swipe genres. Intense, difficult. Takes fast fingers. I'm only on level 2 after a lot of tries and playing the tut I see the remove ads went down to .99 - I paid for that but not unlock. I think you'll do a lot better with a slightly lower price point even though it IS a lot of fun. We're all just spoiled with free games these dayz . I do see the iap descriptions in the listing now like lavendar mentioned. I guess you figured it out Good luck with this game, hopefully you'll get some sort of coverage on here...it's tough! Thanks for the code M75
thanks M75! what a great review of the game. yeah, I dropped the remove ads to what it should've been, and the iap descriptions just take a while to show up, I guess
funky & dope Thanks for the promo code! I dig this game. its got retro flavor. love simple raw style of the objects. i guess its called low poly. music is fresh...basically hip hop with chip sounds the game is really fast-paced. starts off slow but builds before you know it your city is destroyed. frantic, twitchy replay kind of gameplay. good controls, just swipe and tap things. ads don't bug me I wanted to get to level 3 before posting this review, but i'm having trouble...that @#%$ tornado! how do i get past it.. nothing in the how section. its hard enough to get TO it, haha. i'll keep trying
tornado! thanks Joinein for another awesome review of the game! I'm thrilled to hear people are actually into the style i was going for. Someone else I know also used the word brooklyn when describing it. Ive visited but never lived there...not sure i get the reference, but hey I just hope meteors don't fall from the sky there... the tornado and other natural disasters in Deflecto were designed to stump you. I can't give the solution but it works a lot like the rest of the game if you just think about it. good luck!
thepopularapps woke up this morning to some exposure...Deflecto is now the featured "Popular App" on thepopularapps.com http://www.thepopularapps.com/apps/deflecto/ and a bunch of people retweeted me, too, so that's cool.
The reviews are in... or at least a couple are: Apps Zoom: http://www.appszoom.com/iphone-game/-qzxdl.html App Spy: http://iosappspy.com/deflecto-an-addictive-arcade-game-for-iphone-and-ipad-users/
macnn review and another! I used to read this site all the time: http://www.macnn.com/articles/15/08/18/retro.style.arcade.game.is.fun.but.features.additional.pay.to.play.mechanics.130000/
hooray for reviews congratulations on getting some reviews, and mostly favorable! price seems to be your biggest gripe - that's a good sign, I think
macnn review hey zxy, congrats on all the exposure...the macnn one sounds like they actually played it, and liked it mostly it seems like they misunderstood one thing though. they make it sound like you HAVE to pay to get the additional levels...but you can play them all just by beating them, how the game was intended, yeah?
macnn review @munchkin75 exactly! It's actually mentioned at the beginning that if you protect the city, you unlock the next level. Then later in the article they make it sound like you can't play the additional levels without paying to unlock... the unlock levels iap is only for those who give up or can't beat them and still want to play them. That content is not restricted by payment. I did write them about this, maybe I should just explain in the comments of the article...
Give enemy clouds the finger best Deflecto review title yet! another Deflecto review, great title http://feedmyapp.com/review/give-enemy-clouds-finger/
