  1. Defense Station Touchable $3
Had I given this a spin like 6 months ago I'd praise it. However, since that time the ante has been raised and although this is a nice tower defense one it's just not good enough with the plethora of tower defense games currently out for the iphone. Even if it was $1 there are better ones out there. This isn't, however, a crappy ripoff one like a few I'll leave unmentioned though.

    - five are beating the five bosses
    - five are beat five maps on a certain difficulty level
    - five beat map without using X, or build or max 1 tower of each

There are five maps looks very similar to Warcraft TD game on DS homebrew. Can choose Easy, Normal, Hard. Accrue 10% interest on leftover cash for each level. Maps are always zoomed in and you can pan around. Can speed up game play I believe it's like 5x or maybe it's 10x it goes super fast.

    - Medieval Cannon (ground)
    - Laser Tower (ground/air)
then the rest are unlocked after 10th, 20th level IIRC.
    - Anti-Air Gun (air)
    - Rocket Harpoon splash (ground/air)
    - Lightning Tower high damage but slow, huge range (ground/air)
    - Ice Tower slows enemies (ground/air)

Level details tell you which waves what is coming which is nice. For example River TD map says:
    50 Waves of Tower fun.
Tower unlocks after all turbo waves.

    Turbo waves are 8, 18, 28, 43.
    Flyer waves are 12, 16, 20, 31, 37, 43, 48.
    Spam waves are 19, 28, 36, 49.
    Boss waves are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.

how hard is this one to beat?
  3. First map is way easy. But let's see ice map on normal I've failed twice once at lvl 39 and lvl 42. But then again I was trying to get achievement to beat that map on normal level without using ice tower so that may be why. Again though I don't really recommend this one.

So why am I always tempted to buy these TD games when they go on sale, even though I have like 30 of them already, many of them unplayed?

On sale for 99 cents again. Any thoughts? Still tempted, even with several untouched TD games on my device.
